Aw, cheer up, ladies. Whatever else may be going wrong in your lives, at least you’re wearing really cute outfits, right?

While we’re not crazy that the look book is being replicated so closely, we can’t deny that the two pieces look really cute together and that the lady has such a way with a head wrap that we are compelled to love all her style choices.  A more interesting shoe would not have been unwelcome, however.

There aren’t too many great shots of her in this outfit, so it’s hard to tell whether bad angles and lighting are ruining the effect or whether this is simply a good-on-paper or For Models Only dress, because we’re not loving it on her. The hem’s just a skosh too high and that bib neckline is awkward. And the closer you get, the more the beading looks childish and crafty. Sorry, girl. This one was a bold choice, but it’s not really working for us.
