Taking his inspiration from no less a figure than Le Corbusier as well as the John Hurt version of 1984 ,Todd Snyder stripped this collection down to its bones, offering spare, structured minimalist versions of menswear classics in a small range of sobering hues. Part uniform, part futurism but still very recognizably classic and covetable. It’s not so much a twist on menswear as a tightening of focus and turn toward one particular facet of it. Thoughtful, serious pieces with an engineered or architectural feel to them. Tailored, low-key masculinity.
