Nicole Beharie at the Vanity Fair Young Hollywood Celebration

Y’know? We picked this to feature because we were going to be all “OHMIGOD WHAT WAS SHE THINKING” melodrama. But we think we actually like it. Or at least, we could be convinced to.

Yeah, it’s a little goofy, but it’s kinda fun. And cute. If nothing else, we give her a little credit for picking something off the beaten path. As with so many looks, it’s made or broken by the styling, which is not up to the task here. The matchy bridesmaid pumps were a terrible choice. This is one instance where a simple black pump would’ve done her nicely. And that is not the gorgeous face of Abbie Mills, professional demon-buster. We’re not sure whose face that is, but whoever she is, she’s got some dicey makeup covering it.
