Hey, Jan. Love the dress, but your face is scaring the shit out of us.

This seems like an oddly grandiose look for a Fox sitcom premiere, but she’s always struck us as the type who never gave much thought to the venue she was dressing for. She’s shown up overdressed or underdressed more times than we can count. We suspect, she dresses entirely according to her mood or whim – which is great in day-to-day life, but can sometimes result in awkwardness when you’re dressing for public events

At any rate, it’s not a disaster; just a curiosity. As if she was pissed everyone got to get dressed up for the Oscars this week except her. But we credit her for choosing a slightly odd dress and like we said, it looks pretty good.

Now about that head…

We won’t ding her for the shine because maybe it was humid or something. We can begrudgingly allow our celebrities to have normal bodily reactions to environments, inconvenient and unpleasant though they may be. And we could be talked into that lacquered, lop-sided hair of hers. But we can’t take the shinyness AND the doll hair AND the winged eye all in the same look. It’s making her look a little freaky and robotic. Then again, she’d probably love those descriptors.
