This is an unexpected look from her:
Not totally unexpected, because she likes that “vintage gypsy boho” style for herself. It’s the hair that’s making her look a little odd to us. It’s not bad, exactly, but it does take some getting used to.
We could get behind the dress. We love a gold-and-black combo, and it looks good against her coloring. We’re not sure if it’s a dress that can be belted, though. It looks too slippery and the belt’s not staying in place. Besides, if she had to wear a belt, she should’ve chosen one a bit thinner than this. A thin gold one might’ve been a better idea.
And finally, the boots. Look, it’s cold as hell right now in New York, so we don’t blame her for wanting the coverage, but they really don’t look like they go with this dress. We look at that hem and all we can think is “folk costume.”
