That should be the title of her next album. “Getting Out of Cars,” with tracks about how to hold your terrified cat and what items she likes to pretend are in her purses.
We’re excited to see she’s really stepping up her sidewalk sashay game for 2015 by introducing themed costumes:
Taylor Swift out and about sporting an equestrian look in New York City in a Rachel Zoe ‘Farrah’ coat paired with a Cuore & Pelle ‘Catherine’ bag, & Other Stories leather knee boots, and a Gigi Burris ‘Ana’ cap.
Isn’t she just the sweetest. You know when she’s having a bad press week, she’ll follow this costume thing to its most absurd conclusion and emerge wearing a halo and wings. Or maybe dressed as Glinda, the Good Witch.
You can see it now, can’t you?
Anyway, this is ridiculously precious, and because the coat’s a bit snug and those are the wrong kind of boots, we think it was more about the costume rather than being stylish or put together. That’s… kind of how little girls dress, Tay.
This is not … terrible. Those booties are kind of fab, but they’re clearly way too big on her and they don’t quite go with her all-competing-blues outfit. A little red pleated skirt could have finished this off nicely.
