We’re disappointed she didn’t get an Oscar nom, mainly because we were dying to see what she wore for her Oscars poledance tour but also because we’d like to live in a world strange enough to award Jennifer Aniston an Oscar.

And it’s a further shame because she clearly started ramping up her style for said poledance. Consider:

For Jen, this is almost avant-garde. In fact, we’re so light-headed over the vision of her in a floral that we may have to sit down for a moment.

Oh, wait. We already are sitting down.

But really, except for the janky-ass ponytail (which SO does not say “potential nominee”), we’re really loving this look on her. We could do without the split in the top, but we’re just giddy over the fact that she chose interesting shapes and a little bit of pattern. We guess what we’re saying (in our own obnoxious way) is, this is just okay for anyone else but it’s applause-worthy coming from her. Attagirl.

Sorry about the lack of nom. But hey, Angie won’t be there either.
