2015 Producers Guild of America Awards Red Carpet Rundown

Posted on January 26, 2015

Darlings, let’s take a break from ragging on all the SAG Awards fashion and do a rundown of its uglier sister, the Producers Guild Awards, which happened the night before and no one seemed to care.

Well, we care, Jan Brady. We care.

Hit it, attention hogs.

We almost like it for being an interesting and slightly off-model choice for her, but those straps and that plunging neckline aren’t very flattering. Love the head, though.

Standard. You’ve done your poledancing duty for the night, Eddie. Back in the box you go.

Kerry Washington in Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2015

Is marsala not the most disastrous Pantone color choice of all time? Who looks good in it?

Matt Bomer

We can think of no better illustration of how rare it is for a man to effectively pull off a double-breasted jacket than a picture of Matt Bomer with ladyhips.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Erdem

The splashes of color are pretty, but she really needs to get the hell away from black, lacey dresses. She’s in a style rut.

Claire Danes in Roksanda Pre-Fall 2015

Craft project gone awry.

Judy Greer in Pamella Roland

A little too “White House Correspondents Dinner,” if you know what we mean.

Matthew Beard

 Winner for Best Hair.

Christian Serratos

Because every gal wants a gown that looks like a threadbare comforter.

Keira Knightley in Chanel Resort 2015

Because every pregnant gal wants to look like a backsplash.

Kit Harington

Boy, it’s amazing what that Game of Thrones costuming manages to do for him, isn’t it?

America Ferrera

You’re too young for Helen Mirren’s castoffs, doll.

Kim Dickens

Getting the bare minimum job done.

Katie Cassidy

We’re surprised this works so well for her, but it needs a bangle or cuff or cocktail ring to take it to that Lauren Hutton realness.

 Nothing wrong with that.

Lauren Cohan

Kinda digging the neck and shoulders, which take this away from being boring. The head is missing something.

Reese Witherspoon

Well, look who broke her own mold! While we applaud the idea of getting a bit away from her Southern Country Club style, we (and she) can tell this isn’t quite working for her. The shapes just aren’t right for her shape. The top is too blocky and the waist of the pants hits about a half-inch lower than it should.

Felicity Jones in Valentino Pre-Fall 2015

It’s a gorgeous dress, but she had the original nude lining switched out for this gray one, which only widens her and takes some of the magic out of it.
