Cathy and Bill are off to New York for a little shopping and maybe to catch the Rockettes at Radio City. Let’s check out their holiday snaps, shall we? And judge them, of course.
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge arrive at The Carlyle Hotel, where they will be staying during their official two-day visit to the United States in New York City. Catherine is wearing a Seraphine coat.
Because it’s cold in New York, it’s really all just a succession of coats for Mrs. Cathy. Royal coat porn, if you will. This is … nice enough. Gets the job done. Not really setting our world on fire or anything. We think the booties are annoying us and that’s why we can’t get worked up over the coat. Then again, she’s pregnant and just got off a transatlantic flight, so kudos to her for not looking like the Walking Dead or having any visible vomit on her.

Hillary, you need to switch to decaf, hon.
We’re surprised that we love this so much, but that may have to do with the fact that Mrs. Cathy is wearing skinny pants, something we rarely ever see her do in public. There’s something quintessentially NYC-sharp about the look, possibly because she’s wisely sporting a NYC designer’s coat. Miss Lady knows what she’s doing.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge meets First Lady of New York City, Chirlane McCray at the Northside Centre for Child Development in Harlem in New York City. Catherine is wearing a Goat ‘Washington’ coat and Chirlane is wearing a Nanette Lepore ‘Skyscrape’ coat.
How can you not love that picture of her talking to that kid? Adorable.
This is our favorite of all the coats, and the only one so far by a British designer. Is it a coincidence that it’s called the “Washington” coat or is Mrs. Cathy having a little cheeky fun with us? Either way, we love the look. It’s sharp, a little sexy, and a little bold.
