2014 Gotham Awards Red Carpet Rundown

Posted on December 02, 2014

Darlings, we don’t know what the Gotham Awards are, but a bunch of celebrities showed up begging for attention, so we feel it’s our duty to give it to them, T Lo-style.

 Simple and perfect.

Famke Janssen in Valentino

The dress is fine but the shoes are terrible and she needs a hair consult.

Tilda Swinton in Haider Ackermann

Beige goddess.

Although in truth, even she can’t make this work all that well.

Morticia dress with Nana sandals and harsh makeup.

Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt

Cutest Couple. Our only quibbles: her shoes are bland, her hem annoys and his pants are too long.

Julianne Moore in Givenchy

It’s like she has some sort of compulsion to pick the least flattering dresses and shoes she can find. We’re all for being interesting in your choices, but it’s okay to lower your sights to just “pretty” every now and then, Julianne. We give you permission.

We’re getting Dustbowl farm wife in disco shoes.

Marisa Tomei

Those shoes are too interesting for that dress and vice versa.

Jake Gyllenhaal

 Minimal effort.

Heather Graham in Pamella Roland

Kudos on avoiding camel toe, dear, but you have a bicycle tire around your waist.

Joey King in Dolce&Gabbana

Cute; although it’d be cuter if the waist sat lower on her.

Scary Bladerunner replicant.
