You see, a celebrity, when she’s got a project to promote, grows a thick layer of near-invisible fur that allows her to brave temperatures that send the average bada-bing New Yorker diving straight for the fleece. The result is freakish and unsettling.
Jessica Chastain makes an appearance on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” in New York City in a Smythe blouse paired with a Givenchy skirt and Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps.
Seriously, what’s the deal with all the wise guys in the background? Secret unknown fan base?
Anyway, our point is, this bitch got poise. There’s no way she’s not freezing right down to her marrow, but she’s smiling away and making cutesy little poses because that is how shit gets done in her world. Every goosebump is another ticket sale. It will take another 12 hours for the testicles of every man behind her to descend back to their natural state, but Miss Jessica has only a slight blush to show for the weather. Why? Because she is a STAR.

Jessica, don’t listen to the paps when they ask you to take off your coat in ridiculously cold weather. They’d never ask Matthew McConaughey to do that, would they?
