Zoe Saldana in Christian Dior at the Hollywood Costume Opening Party

One of the more interesting things we’ve learned in our time yelling at celebrities for their style choices is that certain ladies, when they become With Child have some sort of style epiphany and wind up dressing better than they did when they were unblessed by the magic of procreation.

Because Miss Zoe is turning it out here:

Just a simple, striking, elegant and most important of all, comfortable dress. The shoes are pretty but unobtrusive – which is something we wish more lady stars would attempt in their shoe choices. We love a good ass-kicking shoe, but sometimes you don’t want the eye traveling straight down when someone looks at you. Sometimes you’re gonna want footwear that doesn’t pull focus; something elegant and classic. These fit the bill. We went back and forth on the clutch. It’s gorgeous, and we like that she chose one item with a little bit of visual oomph to it, since everything else is so simple. It’s just that we’re not sure if the clashing pinks work or not. Certainly, we wouldn’t have wanted to see a matchy pink, which is why we’re leaning towards liking it.
