You guys, will Blake Lively be the pregnant ladystar that finally lets us all break our rule about not hating on pregnant ladystars? It’ll be an interesting question to ponder, especially if she goes full on #BeMeOrDoMe in her image branding while she’s gestating. We’re kind of enjoying all the negative attention her ridiculous web site is getting right now, what with the whole “slavery makes such a chic inspiration” controversy. Maybe that’s a little mean of us but you know what? Martha Stewart and (God help us) Gwyneth have actually earned their lifestyle guru status if by sheer force of will, if nothing else. They may be ridiculous, but by God, they will make you listen to them. But her? Why would anyone think Blake Lively has anything to say about how to go about doing … well, anything at all, really? If we turned to Blake Lively for the sum total of life lessons she could possibly offer, we’d come away with a half dozen methods for showing off our legs and maybe some moisturizing tips. Aside from that, we can’t imagine what she has to teach anyone.

At any rate, she definitely wants you to look at her bump right now.

It’s like she’s terrified people might think she gained weight so she’s doing everything but wearing a BABY ON BOARD t-shirt over her dress to let us know that she’s baby-baking.  We can’t wait to see what articles get plagiarized to describe the joy of pregnancy to her many (?) followers.

It’s a pretty dress, but we’re not sure it looks so great over a baby bump, what with it being clingy, with a nude underlay. It has kind of a weird effect.
