Gosh, we’d really like to call this our first entry of coat porn for fall, except for two little things.
Blake Lively stops to sign up for her baby registry at Giggle in New York City in a Lindsey Thornburg trench cloak.
Lindsey Thornburg Fall 2014 Collection
One: she totally assed it up by pairing it with imaginary pants and Barbie boots.
Two: HOLY MARY MOTHER OF PEARL that’s some racist-ass styling for the look book. It’s like appropriating a tribal African print, putting it on a white model, and sticking a bone through her nose.
The latter isn’t Blake’s fault, of course, but it’s a nice reminder of why you should question designers who appropriate folk prints and cultural artifacts.
