HEM YOUR PANTS.

We dig this look a lot, simply for being weird and a little off-the-beaten path, but we once again have to contradict our own rule about not resorting to runway styling. That top just looks better with the pink pants. It would also look great with a blue pencil skirt and white pumps. And so help us, if someone cites that archaic (and Americo-centric) “Labor Day” rule about wearing white, then we might as well reply that a lady should not be allowed to leave the house without a hat and gloves. Or uncovered ankles. In other words, no one cares about seasonal-specific colors anymore. It’s a throwback that means nothing in the 21st Century.

Harrumph.
