This isn’t … we don’t know … offensively bad or anything. It just looks bad on her. That’s pretty much what “Girl, That’s Not Your Dress” is all about, no? The wrong dress on the wrong gal.
It doesn’t help that the fit is off and the styling’s poor. This dress clearly belongs on someone else:
Someone with a smaller chest and different coloring, clearly. And also someone older. And taller, obvs. Viola Davis or Julianna Margulies, come on down. This is your dress, ladies. And while you’re at it, grab some kickass shoes, because you’re not gonna want these sad things.
We don’t know what’s worse about her hair, that it’s following the kinda-played-out ombre trend or that it’s following the very recent flicked-back-and-slicked-back look we’re seeing on the red carpet. Basically, all indications are that her hair queen is a trend whore who needs to get a grip.
Vanessa, go back to the hippy-dippy Rhiannon schtick you tend to like in your casual life. There are great ways to upscale that to the red carpet. Don’t get talked into dresses like this. They don’t suit you even slightly.
