Inspired by “the sexy, dark world of cabaret and the daring confident attitude that defined it,” Naeem Khan offered up a very “boudoir” kind of collection, with his usual shimmering, glamorous and slinky looks finding themselves walking a runway with more playful and openly sexy pieces: florals and animal prints, fringe and embroidery; all combining to bring a sort of burlesque sexiness to the forefront. It’s fun – and that’s not usually a word we associate with the brand.
