Donna Karan, for her 30th anniversary runway show, turned the Donna Karan dials up to eleven, offering up what might have been a greatest hits collection but instead felt like a fresh take on all the things that made the brand what it is. Forgive us for sounding like runway modeling coaches, but it’s a collection that inspires brevity so here goes: It was all strong, fierce, goddess, shape, sex, power, walk, drama, stomp, drape, and flow, darlings. A walking (stomping) cornucupia of the Donna Karan aesthetic and point of view. Sexy to outrageous to take-no-prisoners.
