We suppose it would have been too much to ask for her to show up in a pale pink gown with spaghetti straps and red splotches all over it, but we have to admit, we’re disappointed.
Chloë Moretz attends the “Carrie” World Premiere in Hollywood, California in a Valentino gown.
What a swampy-looking dress. We think the color could work for her, because it does seem to make her eyes pop, but the somewhat dreary design and the smudgey print combined with that moldy green does not an enticing look make. It’s possible she was going for some sort of take on a gothic horror gown, but it’s not really working. And besides, Carrie‘s not really gothic horror.
Hair and makeup are pretty, but that’s about all we like here.
