Met Gala 2012 Red Carpet Part 3

Posted on May 08, 2012

Come on, you fame addicts! COME AT US!

Amber Heard in Zac Posen

It’s a standard dress and it’s also kind of a standard Amber Heard/Zac Posen dress. She doesn’t look bad, but it’s all very expected. And we don’t love the color.

Amy Poehler in Fotini

Oh, the bottom is so tragic, Amy. But the top two thirds look great and that’s a very important step in the right direction! Yay! Your bust fits you correctly!

Brooklyn Decker in Tory Burch

Pretty color, but kind of a bleh shape to this thing.

China Chow in Jean Paul Gaultier

She has to be sporting at least 6 inches of heel to be wearing this dress. Bless her.

Christina Ricci in Thakoon

Girl, that’s CLEARLY too much dress for you.

Debra Messing in Kaufmanfranco

The plunging neckline combined with the way everything gathers at her belly button makes the whole thing look less than flattering.

Emma Roberts in Escada

Pretty, but probably not her best color.

Ginnifer Goodwin in Monique Lhuillier

Gotta say, she looks pretty amazing. We’re not crazy about all the satiny pumps everyone seemed to have defaulted to last night, but these ice blue shoes were a great idea, color-wise.

Gisele Bundchen in Givenchy

Honey, your shoes are too small.

Greta Gerwig in Prabal Gurung

It’s a bit too dour in a Joan Crawford kinda way, but the color is gorgeous.

Ivanka Trump in Peter Pilotto

We go back and forth on this one. The top of the dress seems more complicated than it needs to be and her hair is kind of aging, but the overall look is dramatic.

Jaime King in Topshop

Awful. And it looks highly flammable.

Jessica Alba in Michael Kors

It’s cute how the Duchess is beaming proudly behind her. As well he should.

Lena Dunham in Wes Gordon

Girl, that is not only not your dress, those are not the shoes to be wearing with it.

Leslie Mann in Nina Ricci

Don’t love the color and the shoes pull focus.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior

It’s a gorgeous dress, but the sheer skirt’s not working for us. Needed a lining. Also, the hair and makeup are kind of disappointing.

Milla Jovovich in Prada

There was a lot of gorgeous Prada to be found on that RC last night, but this wasn’t one of them.

Sandra Lee

Damn. Someone’s been skipping the cocktails and tablescapes and spending more time working out.

Sarah Jessica Parker in Valentino

We made a “Little House on the Prairie” joke last night on the twitter, but we have to admit, we think this is gorgeous. Get rid of those cuffs, though.
