Darlings, the stars came down from the sky for a very good cause. Let’s show our appreciation by critiquing their clothes!
Berenice Bejo in Giambattista Valli Couture
Absolutely gorgeous. We’re not crazy about the shoulders, but this more than makes up for that monstrosity she wore the other day.
Diane Kruger in Chanel
Girl, that’s not your dress. WAY too twee. Send that dress to a Fanning.
Josh: For God’s sake, buy a razor.
Janet Jackson in Emilio Pucci
Well, it’s divatastic, that’s for sure. It’s also just a bit too boobtastic, which surprises us, because we would have thought Miss Janet had her fill of flashing her boob to America.
Joely Richardson
That’s a striking color on her, but the shapelessness of the dress combined with the major leg reveal gives it all the feel of a bathrobe. Also, Joely honey, if you’re going to show that much leg, make sure they match your face better.
Julianna Margulies in L’Wren Scott
Shiny face and yoga hair, ruining a perfectly good gown. For shame, Julianna. You’re better than this.
Kelly Rutherford
We’re really not loving the color or shape of this dress. We’re intrigued by that shoe choice, because that’s not a color we would have thought to pair with this dress. And while we do NOT subscribe to the idea of matching one’s bag to one’s shoes, it does kinda seem like they’re fighting each other.
Kirsten Dunst in Louis Vuitton
Very, very pretty. It’s hard to make a blue gown look interesting, but this is one of the more interesting looks of the night.
The hair’s tragic, though.
Kylie Minogue in Emilio Pucci
Still a diva, but this isn’t quite as WERQ-worthy as her earlier effort. Not loving the shape of the neckline.
Michelle Rodriguez
Surprisingly polished. She normally looks like she’d rather be looking under a car’s hood than wearing a gown on a red carpet.
Milla Jovovich in Atelier Versace
You go on with your bad self, Space Girl.
Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab
Angelina Jolie, this is how you do it.
Damn, girl. You just schooled Angelina Muthafuckin Jolie.
Paris Hilton in Basil Soda
We REALLY hate to say it, but she looks good here. Don’t love the hair, but this is sophisticated and chic, which is pretty amazing considering who we’re talking about.
Rose McGowan in Atelier Versace
Enh. We love Miss Rose’s sense of drama, but this is a bit “Barbie, Opera Diva” to us.
