The Boys of Comic-Con

Posted on July 28, 2014

In a reversal of our normal opinions on such matters, Comic-Con is one of those celebrity venues where a boystar in jeans and a t-shirt might actually get a compliment from us. It’s a place where dressing up can make you look like you don’t want to be there or don’t get what it’s about.

Having said that, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do it. The stars are not attendees, after all. They’re entertainment industry pros trying to sell a product. Do the casual thing, by all means. But don’t come looking like a slob.

We originally offered up a tepid “Meh” at the sight of this, but after we saw the rest of the boys in this post, we were forced to admit that it’s one of the more put-together of the looks. We dig the sneaks. And the pecs.

HORRIBLE. Talk about hiding your light under a bushel. The public wanted Thor arms, Chris.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Andy Serkis

Nerds.

It’s alright. No complaints.

Bleh. That shirt’s doing nothing for him.

This is very disappointing, Channing.
