Pope Tilda is here to wash away all your style sins, darlings.
Come, meet Pope Tilda by the river, where she will baptize you with Schiaparelli and lift you up to live among the fashionistas and beautiful people. Listen to her Good News and be comforted.
Personally, we feel like the pontiff could’ve used a belt or something, but that might have interfered with her whole pope-drag thing, we suppose. This look has been sitting around in a folder since yesterday, mainly because it’s such a standard Tilda look that we could’ve sworn we’d already featured it. It’s not a new or fresh look for her, but it’s consistent and well-deployed, we suppose. We don’t know. This feels like blasphemy but she seems to have been coasting for a good while on the style front. She’s not the type who’d take well to “You need a style rethink” advice, because we assume her approach to fashion is more art- and expression-based than simply a way of looking good or promoting herself. Still, we’d love it if she got a little away from the Schiaparelli/Haider Ackermann rut she’s found herself in.
