Style File: Octavia Spencer Works those Tadashi Shoji Dresses at the Toronto Film Festival

Posted on September 14, 2017

These pics have been sitting in a folder for a few days, not because they’re not lovely, but because they’re so steady, straight, and right for her, that there’s little for us to say about them. When Octavia and Tadashi meet, the results are uniformly good-to excellent, every time.

There is no denying that smile. Miss Girl knows she looks pretty. This is nice to see because it’s different from Shoji’s normal reliance on colored laces. The print pops, the colors look great, and we love the velvet platform sandals as a finisher.

Serving up a little bit of Miss Ross action with the head-styling – and it looks great. LOVE the earrings. The dress is pretty, sophisticated, and a little unassuming. Personally, we love her in rich colors, but there’s nothing wrong with going classically chic with an LBD and a little peplum action.

Once again, the shoes make really great finishers for the look.
