Elisabeth Moss, winner of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for “The Handmaid’s Tale”
This is …just okay. As we noted before, we’re a bit surprised to see her embracing retro mid-Century styles of late, considering she was stuck in them for the better part of a decade while on Mad Men. And unlike some of her co-stars from that show, she’s someone who looks better in more modern fare. The dress is fine, but it’s just not all that interesting. And the pale pink, while lovely, does nothing for her own coloring. Love the shoes, though.
We always feel a little bad writing a post like this. She looks good. But it’s not a memorable or photogenic look, and as Nicole showed once again, that’s exactly what you want when you’re the favorite to pick up an award.
