Brie Larson Goes Unicorn in Schiaparelli Couture at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival

Brie Larson at the premiere of her directorial debut, “Unicorn Store,” at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Well, if you’re there to promote your movie with “Unicorn” in the title, we suppose you can’t get much more on point than this:

Not without gluing a horn to your head, that is.

We don’t know… it’s cutely evocative of what she’s promoting, but it’s really not all that great a frock off the runway and out of the hands of models. The colors are really tough to pull off (Miss Lupita, we invite you to try, however), and the voluminous quality of it, combined with a plunging neckline, awkward hem and really distracting belt treatment make for a lot of dress to attempt.

Although a silver pair of D’Orsay pumps or mules might have helped tremendously. Girl, as kindly as we can put it: those are not your shoes. Not ever.
