Miss Leslie provides a textbook illustration of that ol’ style adage, “Work your assets, girl.”
It means, in our view, to play up those parts of yourself that you feel happiest and most confident playing up. It doesn’t mean camouflaging yourself or “fooling the eye” or any such nonsense like that.
And while it wouldn’t be for us to declare which of Miss assets are her greatest, because only she can answer that, it seems to us that she’s making her views pretty clear on the question with this choice, and they happen to align with our own. The romper is playful but has just enough sober formality in the top half to look good for a sit-down (and set off that necklace). More to the point, playing up her face and her legs clearly gives her freedom and comfort to be herself.
She looks fabulous, sexy, beautiful and confident.
