Max Mara’s 2017 Women in Film Red Carpet Rundown

Posted on June 14, 2017

Doesn’t it feel like your day won’t be complete until you run down a curated list of the women (and one woke man) who came out to celebrate women in film? We can all promise to be nice and celebratory about it. Except for when it comes to footwear choices, because we really have a hard time keeping that one off our faces.

Anyway, let’s go celebrate, shall we?

Ahna O’Reilly

Cutely, quietly low-key chic.

Bellamy Young

Ditto – and she’s a lady who sometimes veers wildly into the loud and tacky section. This is very ladies-who-lunch, which means it couldn’t be more on point.

Holland Roden

It’s a sheer black but we don’t hate it.

Jaime King

LOVE that dress.

Jon Hamm

For a guy who famously freeballs on the street, it’s funny how protective he gets on a red carpet.

Katherine McNamara

There’s a lot of unexpected stuff from the knees to the toes. We think we’d rather have the color-blocked hem or the pop-of-color shoes, but both is a little discordant.

Lauren Cohan

Seventies Lauren Hutton realness – which is a style we’re constantly imploring more celeb-ladies to deploy.

Zoey Deutch

We still don’t know why so many celebs insist on wearing boldly colored velvets in June, but we can appreciate her for serving ip a little Paisley Park realness unexpectedly.
