Now this is what we’ve been whining about all these years!
Well done, Mrs. Cathy. Brava.
In all the years we’ve covered her style choices and complained about how dull, safe and generic they tend to be, there was always a certain pushback that defended her on the basis of the requirements and restrictions of her position. But that never truly covered it for us, partially because so many high-ranking members of the royal family went through periods of great stylishness in their youth and partially because there’s no reason to assume that dressing stylish meant she had to dress trendy or in a way that invited scandal. This is practically straight out of the Jackie Kennedy playbook and yet it looks fresh and chic here. Love every single bit of this look. Rare is the occasion when we get to say that about Miss Duchess’s choices.
