Rosamund, darling! We’re HERE for you, sweetie!
Let T Lo help you out here. There, there. It’ll be alright. First, we hug.
Then we tell you that your shoes and hair are … not helping your situation, dear. We’re not at all in love with the dress on its own. It’s a bit serious and terribly unphotogenic. Granted, this is a Serious Film, so she may have felt it important to not over-glam things up – especially when your Nazi film is opening in Paris – but she didn’t have to take things in such a funereal direction. Keep the severe black dress, by all means, Ros. Your looks tend to ask for severe style choices and you seem to prefer them. Personally, we’d be taking you in more of a Grace Kelly route, but that seems to have never been your bag.
But if you’re going for the severe black dress on the red carpet, we think it’s more important than ever that you pick the right shoes and style yourself for pictures. That means you get rid of those 10-pounders you’ve got on each foot and maybe opt for a strappy sandal or metallic pump.
After you’ve accomplished that, you need only fire your hair and makeup team in a highly dramatic meltdown that will leave them all emotionally scarred for the rest of their days. Then find someone to put your hair up, shove some diamonds onto your lobes and play up your eyes a little.
There. Was that so hard?
We’re sorry, dear. Only one hug per customer.
