Pop Style Opinionfest: Bad Drag, Tacky Bags, and Good Vintage Style

Posted on April 18, 2017

Darlings, the holiday weekend had us dragging our blogger asses on Monday, so we apologize for being a day late with this one. But make no mistakes, we had opinions to firmly state, not the least of which were expended on the topic of what Tom dubbed “The worst hour of reality competition television I may have ever seen.”

Yes, it was the pretty awful and badly produced “Morning Talk Show” episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

It wasn’t so much that the results of the challenges were bad (although they were) but the production of the episode was almost shockingly bad. You’ll have to give a listen to get all the reasons why.

After that, we turn to the world of style, where we go off on precisely two topics. First, the Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons bags, and why we find them tacky, but not particularly offensive. Then, jumping off Miss Anne Hathaway’s recent poor attempts at it, we serve up the definitive T Lo guide on how to shop for and wear vintage clothes, with lots of helpful tips, style advice and good common sense thrown into the mix; not to mention the dual perspectives of someone for whom vintage clothing is almost perfectly sized (Lo) and someone for whom it almost never is (T).

It’s all there once again, darlings: drag, bags, and a couple of … nice homosexuals giving you good fashion advice.

Thanks again for tuning in!
