We are legally and morally prohibited from criticizing Dan’s suit.
Practically every day, sometimes multiple times a day, we rail against celebrity men,who have the freedom to wear practically whatever they want and the chance to pick from some of the biggest names in menswear, but wind up hitting a red carpet like they’re interviewing for a position in accounts payable. We realize most men are not inclined to go crazy on the fashion front – and that there’s still a “He must be gay” assumption made about men who put any work in on their style, which is not cool. But all we ever asked for was a basic suit rendered in an interesting color or pattern. Is that so much to ask, boystars?
Clearly, the answer from Dan is, “No.” And because of that, we are compelled to say nothing, not even that we would’ve loved a colored shirt and black tie or black shirt and colored tie but oh, we’ve said too much already. It’s good, Dan. We approve. Boystars, take note.
Also, Dan, beards are not your destiny. We’re just saying.
