Nic, this isn’t doing a thing for you:

Our first reaction was “What a bland gown,” but after a couple of minutes taking it in, we realized that it could have been a shimmery, kickass kind of armored look on the right gal. But Nicole doesn’t have the coloring or the fashion warrior style that could make this dress come alive. We’re thinking K Stew or Lupita would know what to do with this one. Ship it off to either of them, because girl, that is not your dress.

Are we wrong here? Is there some sort of styling hack that could make this suddenly spring to life on her? Because the shoes and hair sure aren’t doing the job. And the clutch and jewelry strike us as somewhat expected, safe choices. Dramatic hair, smokey eye, and accessories that look like weapons. That’s what this look needs. Also: attitude out the wazoo.
