Renée Zellweger attends the world premiere of “Bridget Jones’s Baby” at the Odeon Leicester Square in London, England.
It’s been a while since we tossed out the final word to all y’all kittens. This look makes the perfect opportunity for a vote, because we find ourselves bouncing back and forth between the “PRO” and “CON” columns. To wit:
PRO: There is something to be said for simple elegance on the red carpet.
CON: There’s “simple” and then there’s “generic.”
PRO: But she’s got a zebra on her thigh.
CON: The hem length is awkward and the choice of cocktail rings over other jewelry is a strange one for this style of dress.
PRO: Given the intense scrutiny of her looks, and the rather ruthless way her purported plastic surgery is discussed, it takes some balls to step out in something so simple that the look becomes all about the face, which she kept clean and low-ley.
CON: The head styling is for running errands, not the red carpet.
So kittens? Your work is cut out for you, as you can see. Cut through all the backing and forthing and just come right out and say it, for God’s sake:
