Reese-Witherspoon-Tiffany-Co-Blue-Book-Gala-Red-Carpet-Fashion-J-Mendel-Tom-Lorenzo-Site (7)WE DON’T THINK THIS DRE–sorry. We have no idea why we’re yelling. We don’t think this dress really suits you, girlfriend. The bust sits a skosh too low (but is admirably fitted otherwise, we have to say), and the shape of the skirt is awkward. Plus the flowers look cheap. Kudos for wearing it well and styling it perfectly, but even you can’t save this one, dear.

    Ugly dress… keep the jewels

    • “Leave the guns; take the cannoli.”

  • Janet B

No amount of jewels will distract from that (ugly) dress.

  • Beto

Ugh! Take back that dress to the store girl. Nice jewels. And nice rack.

  • Little_Olive

The country club has taken over her. Se looks stiff and, well, like a random rich second wife and not a movie star. Tsk.

    • MsCool

Maybe she looks stiff because she can’t breathe. I think that thing is a little too fitted.

  • Glam Dixie

The way the skirt attaches to the dress is really unfortunate. Love the return of bling on the RC

    • makeityourself

Alas, the only reason she’s wearing the jewels is because it’s a Tiffanys party.

  • tallgirl1204

I looked at the picture before I looked at the caption (and realized that it was a jewelry event), and thought “ohhhh, pretty necklace– I’m in.” Because to me, strapless dresses were made for fabulous necklaces– I do not like a strapless dress/no necklace look at all. I don’t mind the dress, but I sure like that sparkly pretty.

    • Julz

I agree! The strapless dress/no necklace look is a trend I hope is over soon. I want to see the bling again! My name is Julz after all!

  • Latin Buddy

Side note: didn’t know she will be playing Tinker Bell in the new live action Peter Pan spinoff

    • Bernd

Another one?!? Didn’t Pan lose enough money already?

    • CatLady

I hope it’ll be super bitchy Tinker Bell, the way she was originally written. Reese is perfect for that role.

      • FrigidDiva

        I’d totally go see that.

  • largishbearishAtlish

    a) the winner of the Most Uncomfortable RC Smile goes to…..Reese!

    b) anyone else waiting for her to whip off the skirt and do some sort of dance routine with the gay waiters?

  • bessann28

I feel like she should be wearing a hat with fruit on it.

  • The jewels are pretty which I suppose is the point. But slit is too much. And her head looks like Mena Suvari.

  • sarcasmfont

I’m more distracted by the orange lipstick than the questionable skirt, lol!

  • She looks uncomfortable, as if she’s afraid the dress is going to slide right off.

    • Sam Smith

Yes, she looks super uncomfortable. She is wondering if the dress is going to slide down or if her boobs are going to make an appearance.

  • oh vienna

    Madame Tussauds Realness

  • JMD

First, I wanna hoik it up just an inch or so… Second, it looks like you forgot to put your top on and that is your longline bra/corset showing.

  • A_guy01

Mean girl at the prom. Her daddy own half the town and YOU CAN’T SIT WITH HER!

  • Karen B

4th photo… is she doing the Pledge of Allegiance?

  • Wink

Miss Hawaii in the Miss USA pageant.

  • She always has the best posture, elegant instead of the foolish poses we often see with celebrities.

  • Nonnah

If Esther Williams was wearing this, standing by a pool, it would look great!

  • SugarSnap108

That skirt is hiddy, no matter how many diamond-clad hands you rest upon it.

  • schadenfreudelicious

So many unfortunate dress pairings with those amazing Tiffany jewels…

  • Kaonashi

I’m just relieved that she’s in something that actually fits and doesn’t make her midsection look like a box.

  • Lower L

I don’t care for the bodice fit. Apart from the fact that it’s too low, there’s not quite enough depth to the bustline, forcing the girls sideways.

  • SophieCollier

She legit looks afraid to move.

  • DJ Angel

She looks like a mannequin in most of these shots with that blank gaze.

  • Shannyn Marie

The-hands-to-thigh charm school pose is doing her no favors. Her poor tatas look simultaneously smashed, air brushed, and contoured. How is that possible.

  • Eric Stott

Scrolldown WTF? – head good, bust good, skirt crazy. Posing like an Easy Dress Barbie does not help.

  • Byodo-In

So sad that beautifully made bodice was married to that unflattering rag of a skirt.

  • BrooklynBomber

    Oh, honey.

  • Stuart Miller

The awkward skirt reminds me of a Dorothy Lamour sarong which (need I say?) is hardly appropriate for the occasion. Nice jewelry though and she is very well turned out.

  • susan6

The top reminds me of the scene in Legally Blonde when she dresses as a Playboy bunny to go to what she thought was a costume party. So this dress…playboy bunny on top, kids craft assignment on the bottom.

    Bling is on point though.

  • Her makeup is so harsh she looks like a drag version of herself here. Not digging it.

  • throwslikeagirl

The diamonds are plenty enough sparkle. Those sequins cheapen the look.

  • N

Perfection. Sleek, with the floral detailing adding interest while still leaving room to show off the mandatory jewels. Impeccable fit and styling. She nailed it.

  • E. D.

The skirt is too short on the left by 3-4 inches.

  • The ladies have really struggled to dress for this one, haven’t they? That skirt is not good.

  • Flavius Baltus

That dress must be from the designer’s Spring Tightly Wound collection.

  • steph

She looks incredibly uncomfortable in this dress.

  • DeniseSchipani

The bodice is indeed well fitted but otherwise the whole thing is terribly unflattering. And she’s posing like a statue of herself – why?

  • funkydonut

Personal worst? I think this is AWFUL on her. Completely unflattering and she looks really uncomfortable in it.

  • Lily

    Uncomfortable as heck.

  • James Wurm

I really like her pledge-of-allegiance approach to displaying the ring.

    • MilaXX

    • Watts

I thought of it as the “Oh my heart” gesture. Like, when someone does something really adorable and you say, “Oh my heart.”

      • James Wurm

I imagine both as disingenuous gestures made by Reese,

  • Joanna

I don’t know about the dress, but if there is ever a Madeline Kahn biopic, Reese should get the role.

  • snarkykitten

    She looks really uncomfortable!

  • MilaXX

Why does she look afraid to move in it? I really hate that skirt part.

  • She looks soooo stiff. Breathe, dear! It’s okay!

  • GillianHolroyd

    This just looks…perfunctory. Minimal effort.

  • MannahattaMamma

That skirt is like someone took the centerpiece from the Garden Club and wrapped it around her waist. Poor dear. Hope she doesn’t plan to sit down at any point.

  • Make-up perfection, tho.

  • argy-bargy

I saw a photo the other day of her wearing this and thought it looked unflattering. What’s going on with her lately? She used to dress so well. 🙁

  • EEKstl

No. I think you need to be at least 5’7″ to wear this – She’s just too short for this gesture.

  • Rawtoo

Maybe if the flowers had crept up into the bust section? I don’t like the abrupt stop.

  • crash1212

I’s pledge allegiance to that ring, too.

  • Kimberlini

Reese doing her best “butter wouldn’t melt in my mouth” impression.

  • Bowildhaze

She needs a bigger, bolder necklace with that impressive display of bosom. The symmetry is off, but her head looks flawless.

  • Monabel

Is she turning into Madeleine Kahn?

  • Monabel

If you’re wearing important jewelry, don’t pick a dress with scanty, cheap, sparkly ornaments on it. Gee whiz.
