This just isn’t working for us. Despite the impressive show of leg, it comes off a bit “old lady.” We suspect there’s a gal out there who could rock this look, but Evie’s not that gal. She really needs to keep things relatively simple and sleek. She’s not the kind who can handle electric pink, exaggerated shoulders AND three different prints in one outfit.

It’s also kind of showy for a semi-casual daytime event honoring someone other than herself. We find ourselves wishing we could keep the top of the dress and put her in black skinny pants on the bottom half.

We can’t quite decide if it was inevitable that she was the cast member of Lost who managed to become a movie star or if it’s surprising. We can remember thinking back in the day that several of the cast members, including her, would be perfectly positioned for bigger and better things after the show ended (in the way you could tell that, say, certain members of Friends or ER were likely to become big stars), but if you’d told us five years ago that neither Matthew Fox nor Josh Holloway could manage to get anything off the ground, we’d have doubted the likelihood that she would. Granted, she doesn’t seem to have anything on the roster after Ant-Man wraps, but she’s managed to get herself into some impressively showy films.
