Emily Blunt in Dolce&Gabbana at the “Into the Woods” World Premiere

We’re more than over the sheer dress trend. Not because we’re prudish. We actually appreciate when a ladystar can pull off the exposed granny panties look. No, we want to see an end to them because of sights like this:

In an attempt to make it more modest, it now looks half-finished. It seems to us, with so much going on visually, this dress didn’t need to be cut in half on top of everything else. You either line the whole thing (except maybe the sleeves) or leave it in its unlined, runway-ready condition. Personally, we’d rather she lined the whole thing. Again, not because we’re prudish but because the skirt looks so dramatic and beautiful compared to the top, which is a mess of lines, flowers, and dots.

And the shoes are gorgeous, but distracting. Also: some jewelry editing wouldn’t be out of place.
