Nicole Richie in Noam Hanoch at Bloomingdale’s Event

We don’t particularly love her personal style, but there’s one thing she really knows how to do and we can’t do anything but praise her for it. She REALLY knows how to put together a dramatic look:

Or at least, she’s really open to it when someone else does it for her.

It’s a really dramatic dress that suits her body and unusual looks extremely well. It seems like a really odd dress to choose for modeling your own jewelry line. Neither the sleeve nor the neckline are all that conducive to wearing chunky or attention-seeking pieces like those. And the pointy-toed pumps look a little odd with the high slit.

But for sheer head-turning value, this look can’t be beat. If you’re bitches like us, you’ll immediately start critiquing after your head turns, but thankfully, the world isn’t entirely populated by bitches like us. The goal is to get her picture taken in an outfit that will make people stop and look, and also to set off her own jewelry line. Done and done, no matter how many quibbles we have. She’s a working gal and this is a costume.

Can’t with the hair, though. She chose the right dress to set it off, but that doesn’t mean the style flatters her.
