IN or OUT: Taylor Schilling in Elie Saab at the Netflix Paris Launch Party

We unreservedly love this because it’s EXACTLY the style we told her (in our heads) she should be sporting: simple, with a twist.  Like us.

But it’s so unadorned that we fear the Bitter Kittens aren’t going to go for it. But we’re firm in our belief that her kind of looks either demand true edginess in one’s style choices (a la January Jones) or, if one can’t manage that, minimalist simplicity. Sure, maybe it could use jewelry or more interesting shoes, but that would defeat the whole purpose of “minimalist simplicity,” wouldn’t it?

Julianne Moore’s “Porcelain Christmas Angel” dress had plenty of defenders, but in the end, it was voted OUT.
