We saw him on the street in New York City last year and we did a head turn as he walked by; not because we recognized him, but because he’s very tall, with very broad shoulders and a tiny waist. Plus he looks great with a bald head. It’s hard to see it in pictures, but he’s actually striking in person.

One thing we’ve noticed, however, is that he sometimes takes a good picture and sometimes takes a surprisingly bad one. The difference between the two? Puffy face.

We’ve all been there.

Whether he had a glass of wine or a plate of carbs the night before, or he’s suffering his way through a bout of allergies at the moment, Mr. Corey is sporting puffy face and it doesn’t make for a good shot.  We sympathize, Corey. It happens. But maybe, since you’re someone who poses for pictures on the regular, you could take note of those things that tend to give you puffy face and then avoid them before an event, hmm? Wouldn’t that be a good idea? If you gave a shit about such things? We’re just saying.

Or you could take the Paul Newman/Joan Crawford route (both of whom claimed this as a beauty tip) and plunge your face in a bowl of ice water to get it to tighten up before you go out. It works. We’ve done it. Or you could keep two spoons in your freezer to put on your eyes when you need to de-puff them. There’s a world of options, Corey. We’re here for you. Just don’t do the Preparation H trick. It’s not worth it. True story.

On the style front, it sure would be nice if you didn’t dress like a cop or a bank manager. You’re tall, thin and broad-shouldered, Mister. Everything in menswear is made for you. Shake things up a little. Bring some contrast into your outfits. This needed a white shirt and a tie with a little print and color to it. You’d look great in a 3-piece. Or a skinny plaid suit. STOP HIDING YOUR HOTNESS.
