The SJP for Nordstrom collection part two. (Yawn)

      • Thomas

I thought the SJP collection was a lot more boring than this.

        • http://twitter.com/janedonuts Jane Donuts

Maybe slightly more edgy than the last one, but these still read “ladies who lunch but want to be considered cool” to me, which might as well be a tagline for the SJP collection.

          • BayTampaBay

I think this collection is way “cooler” than the boring boring SJP Collection.

    • lorepottter

      I love them

Some of these are actually doable!

    • Anna

#10, 16 & 25: SHUT UP AND GET IN MY CLOSET.

      • Kent Roby

#10 should be named The Tilda! Very cool.

    • hughman

Welcome to the 80s!! These are stir-up pants ready!

      • Leah Elzinga

I’m actually totally ok with that. I kind of love a lot of 80s stilettos. A lot of them seem shapelier and with a more natural arch, but still very feminine and sexy.

      • StellaZafella

Back away from the harlequin stilettos…they’re MINE. MINEMINEMINEMINEMINE. whew! thanks. tantrum over , pill’s kicked in.

      • Kent Roby

I’m shocked that no one has “re-discovered” stirrup pants lately.

    • Tanya Wade

A lot of winners here! The black and white boots and the black and white checked pumps bring back the good kind of 80s’ memories

    • sienna elm

      YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY :)

    • Grumpy Girl

Tangential question: How do they get the laces to stand up like that for photos? Are they stiffened with a glue-like substance? Is that they way they would be in the store, or just for the photos? (probably doesn’t speak so well for the excitement of the shoes, that I am fascinated by the laces . . . )

      • hughman

        CGI and Aquanet.

      • Gatto Nero

        Fluffers.

        • Jackie4g

Really? Would that be your tongue in your little apple cheek?

      • Qitkat

        The Invisible Woman.

        • Freynika

I always figured they laced them up on a clear manequin leg, then edited out the manequin part.

          • Qitkat

            Oh shoot. Mundane ;)

    • Alyssa

      I say yay!

    • PeggyOC

Can I haz all of these?

    • PastryGoddess

I really need to win the lottery. I want all of the things

    • mjude

YAY. love the man shoe but wish it was in a different color like black.

    • random_poster

Many good choices in this lot. I’m glad to see a shoe collection that doesn’t involve a shopping spree through the craft store.

      • Little_Olive

A very, very good point. Second that emotion.

    • alyce1213

Yea for stripes and dots and sexy spectator oxfords!

      • http://weirdinedgewise.blogspot.com ONEWEIRDWORD

        Exactly!

    • Aidan B

YEA! Especially to numbers 12, 14, and 15!

    • Nicole

Yay to 1, 10, and 11 for sure. 7 and 8 kind of look like they were inspired by the cardboard shape-holders that come with shoes but whatever. In.

    • GillianHolroyd

Is the harlequin pattern (diamonds) trending now? ref Amanda’s winning pants on PR, ep 1.

    • FibonacciSequins

YAY. Someone was wearing #3 the other day and I was coveting them. I don’t see a clunker in the entire collection, and some are quite good.

      • makeityourself

It was Zoe Saldana, paired with a white dress. I loved her shoes so much I jumped right over to the Bionda site, as I had never heard the name before. The collection struck me as very European in terms of details, silhouettes and heel heights. Rather elegant and dressy. I think Zoe got the best pair.

    • Lori

Yea. I don’t love all of them, but there are quite a few I’d wear if either my budget or my life were appropriate for them.

    • ChiKat67

      I like!

    • Shelby

      J’adore. Love the boots.

    • http://www.ellenciompi.com/ NurseEllen

Oh, very, very, very YEA. Lots of color choices, heel heights are not outlandish, fun stylings that incorporate trendy things like laces and the bootie look without being extraplanetary, and THEY LOOK LIKE SHOES! No attempts to add bottle opener, Swiss Army Knife, or power transportation to them. I would take most any pair but 1, 4, 5, and 10 are really singing to me.

    • kimmeister

Yea! I’d wear almost all of them. I almost wept tears of joy to see that all of the boots & booties had closed toes.

    • boweryboy

They’re barely a YAY only because they actually seem wearable. Is ugly a prerequisite for shoes nowadays?

      • demidaemon

I feel like their has been so much fug in accessories that whenever we see something remotely tasteful, we all go “Thank God.”

    • PinkyK

Meh I say nay. Although I can’t exactly pinpoint why….

    • Constant Reader

A mixed bag. I really like #6 and #8, and some of the others, while not in my wheelhouse, look pretty great. I’m not in love with the mismatched patterns (#12 looks ridiculous with that harlequin bow and we won’t even speak of the absinthe green/snakeskin monstrosity). #10 looks like a golf shoe with velcro straps instead of laces for a geriatric golfer.

    • teensmom99

Finally, a YEA in the shoe department.

    • Jackie4g

I like them! These are shoes that flatter the calves and ankles. I bet they are too traditionally shaped for the edgier fashions, but I like feminine and pretty footwear.

    • annla

      Wow. Tasteful. YEA

    • Qitkat

I like. Very pretty, contemporary, fresh. Not so much #6. Especially love the ones with dots, stripes, or checks.

    • KT

      Nay

    • sugarkane105

I miss playing Pretend Stylist. #3 is so Gwen Stefani.

    • crash1212

YAY! #1, 3, 4, 5, 11 ,13 (in red) and 14 need to get into my closet. Gimme.

    • Julie Chase

      STRIPES, oh the STRIPES.

    • Izzy_Gremlin

Not a unilateral “yea,” but I’d wear the heck out of a few of these (I’m looking at YOU, checkerboard pumps). Still not a huge fan of the ultra-ultra-skinny stiletto heels, though – it looks like you just couldn’t be bothered to sink the effort into something with a more elegant line to it.

    • conniemd

Yea, There are some I really like. Good color palette and I like the angular shapes. Keeps them from looking overly fussy.

    • Miss Ruth

With the exception of the more chunky heels, I LURVE these.

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

Some of these are already getting overkill on the celeb circuit, but I’d like #2 please!

    • Lily

I love #s 5, 6 and 7. And the greens in the thumbnails are cute, too! At least they’re something we pedestrian folks can wear.

    • Mona_Visa

Those red velvet things, I love them. It’s wrong and I know it but I love them. In my dreams where I can walk again… I’m wearing shoes like that.

    • MilaXX

Mostly Yea! It’s a decent collection that would compliment an outfit without being too focus pulling. Gimme those red suede ones(#5) and all the flats.

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

They read “Spanish from Spain” to me – a little Flamenco. I dig ‘em.

    • Freynika

After the last couple of shoe posts, I’m just happy to see shoes a real person might be able to wear in public, and a few with walkable heels. They probably hurt where the strings lace through, though. Those are some strangely placed blisters just waiting to happen.

    • Trickytrisha

Pretty. Mostly wearable. Somewhat practical. Nicely designed. Want.

    • somebody blonde

GORGEOUS. Coveting so hard right now.

    • LJCdoc

YEA! And also: Yay! Wearable shoes!

    • frannyprof

Yea to all! Especially the polka dots!

    • Yoshio

A very loud YES to this collection!

    • http://phantomminuet.blogspot.com/ MinAgain

Well, I like it. Those boots, both the full and half versions, are fantastic.

    • marlie

Yea, yea ,yea. I really like these! Some are great; otherwise there isn’t a really bad clunker in the bunch.

ETA: #3 — I have to have them.

    • kfizz

      Yea.

    • KendraMR

It’s a big ol Yay for me– a very creative, practical and wearable collection.

    • CatLady

Finally, cute shoes after all those terrible collections we saw earlier this year.

    • http://weirdinedgewise.blogspot.com ONEWEIRDWORD

      I quite like a bunch of these! 11, 5, 4, 1, all the flats

    • lilibetp

I actually might wear some of these…

    • Sara Hottman

Don’t love the sheer panels or the Lady Joker pumps, but otherwise I dig! Way better than the bonkers summer collections. Well-constructed with a little detail.

    • Mothra

Yay. These are very wearable by ladystars and ladyregulars.

    • demidaemon

Tentative YEA. Classic with some interest without any fug. Can’t complain too much.

    • MoHub

      Not enough flats.

    • Alexis Wenceslao

      LOVE. YAY!

    • Miranda Reseigh

      It has flats, it wins.

    • LibKat

Shoes that look like shoes? Is the world ending?

    • DeidreRobbers

      Love!

    • JaymeKay

      Clown and Circus shoes.

    • LambeeBaby

I like all of them but would only be able to admire them from afar as my balance and orthopedic issues keep me away.
***oh yeah, my wallet does too.

    • ktr33

I adore #1. Some others I like. But ADORE #1.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1234087433 Jen Freeman

I like it. Yea for me.

    • evave2

      I think these are cute.

    • nycfan

Yay for kitten heels at least.

    • IAmJ

      #10. YES.

    • Shannon

1, 5, 6, 10, and 12 are my favorites, though I imagine the first pair’s twine detail would cut into my ankles something awful.
