  • Nariya

    Tricky, but yea.

  • Danielle

    Number 7… *grabby hands*

  • MilaXX

Surprisingly mostly yes. Bonus points for including flats in the mix. My favorites are the embellished mustard shoes. I like both the heels and the flats. If these were affordable, I’d buy both.

    • ChiKat67

I like the mustard as well, but wish they’d gone with “less is more”.

      • teensmom99

The flats are sort of overly flat (flat and pointy make peoples’ feet look long and funny)–I think a little heel would have worked.

        • MoHub

          I’m a size 5.5. I could use longer feet.

          • teensmom99

            no bragging.

          • MoHub

Not bragging. My feet tend to look “hoofy” in a lot of shoes because they’re short. And it’s harder than you’d think to find shoes in my size at all.

          • teensmom99

            As a size 10, I guess I’m self conscious.

          • judybrowni

Yep, same for me — I have a better selection in kids’ sizes.

      • MilaXX

I’ve only done this with 2(4) pairs of shoes, but I would wear them for dress. I wear the heels to the wedding where I am just sitting and looking pretty. Then I change in the car to the reception and I have shoes I can dance the night away in and I am still coordinated.

    • fursa_saida

I agree exactly. The flats in general are more my style in terms of something is actually wear, but I like the heels too in the abstract or for others.

    • osiatynska

“Embellished mustard”! Now that’s something I expect to see on a trendy modern menu. And I love the idea of owning both pairs.

  • Thomas

Sorry, but I think these are the epitome of tacky.

    • BayTampaBay

      I second that motion.

  • Jennica Brocious

Crafty, but I could see myself wearing those yellow ones. I love a good flat to.

  • RescueMe23

Wow! Flats! I still can’t afford them – but Yay!

  • Jen Freeman

    Yea! Super fun

  • Mary Elizabeth Poytinger Baume

  • CB

  • Anna

#11 and #14 for me please, Santa.

  • nannypoo

    The flats are really cute.

  • SewingSiren

Velvet , jewels, and compartment heels. What more could you want?

  • mjude

I would so wear #1 & 2 back in the day.
    so YEA

  • BLauDGaspode

So close to perfection. A lot of elements I love, and quite a few I really don’t love, but overall, I’d say it’s a yea.

  • hughman

It’s all very “Aladdin”. Except for the one pair Princess Jasmine apparently wears when she works 42nd Street.

    • Thomas

I was thinking more medieval, esp. that last shoe. Like I could see these in over-the-top productions of Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella.

      • kimmeister

I got a Ren Faire vibe myself.

  • MoHub

    I see flats!

Also, would you call the first two “terrarium heels”?

    • Terri Ellis

I assumed it was the spot for you to stash your extra pair of earrings. But I like terrarium. Makes me think of Disco Stu from the Simpsons.

      • MoHub

It just hit me that one could put a little potting soil in those and start tiny herb gardens.

      • random_poster

It would be fab if that heel had a swing-out door and allowed you to use it to stash whatever you wanted.

  • FibonacciSequins

The thumbnail elicited an “Oh, please” from me, and the rest of the collection isn’t much better. I would like the bejeweled flats if they weren’t done in velvet. TOO. MUCH. I would only consider the brocaded slip-on at the end. It’s still over the top, but in a more fun than garish way.

*I just noticed the burgundy flats (easy for them to get lost in that group). I like those very much and I wish the other flats tended a little more toward their simplicity.

    • MRC210

I saw the burgundy flats too, but … big tacky jewels, so no. These are fun to look at, too over the top to wear.

  • Janet B

    Yay, as decorative items.
    Nay, as wearable footwear.

    • Thomas

These are like shoes you would collect and put in a curio cabinet, not wear.

      • Janet B

        Yes, that would be fun.

      • SewingSiren

Curio cabinet included with purchase with styles #1 and #2!

      • MoHub

        I would weear the flats.

      • scoobynacks

They’d take up less space if you kept the brooches and ditched the shoes.

  • evave2

I like the first two flats but not the third (that would leave weird tan lines on my feet, I already got enough of that from the regular sandals); the first two shoes while cute remind me of the shoes with goldfish in them that Huggy Bear wore in I’m Gonna Get You, Sucka. But I would wear the other thick heeled shoes in a NY minute.

    • MartyBellerMask

I totally have that earworm now! :) Not a bad thing.

  • Coleen

Those are fun as Hell. Give me a kajillion bucks and sign me up.

  • Kara Keenan

They are very Newport Mansion type shoes. An Industrialist’s Wife would wear these. And I want #12.

    • Aidan B

That is the perfect description. I’ll wear pair #9 on my return visit to The Breakers.

  • boweryboy

It’s nice to see some sensible flats, but these are all ugly.

  • Alicia

Yea! Needs to come with a sedan chair so I need never get them wet.

    • MoHub

A sedan chair manned by sexy bearers.

      • scoobynacks

Maybe they could give you the chairs they reupholstered when they used the old fabric for some of the shoes.

  • Laura Renee

Is this NUMBERS that I see??? Is this a new thing you are doing, TLo? Omg I hope it has come to stay.

Anyway — pretty but impractical, so it meets the requirements of high fashion, right?

    • DuBey2

Like x 1,000 about the NUMBERS!!! on the photos to help us refer back to indiv. pieces!

  • wisenhar

To tie two threads together, I’d love to see 11, 13, and 15 on Colton Haynes

  • kerryev

I feel like I’ve seen most of these before but adorable flats.

  • Grumpy Girl

These are so lovely to look at. With a gajillion dollars in my bank account, I’d buy some of the slippers at the end–just to parade around the house and be fabulous in.

  • Kelly

Love those t-strap flats (and #7, too). The loafers and the heels — meh. Thanks for the numbers!

  • rkdgal

#4 for me!! Sure they’re too much, but life is too short for drab footwear.

  • Shalhevet

I really like how the Baroque influence was interpreted. Love first two and the pale/gold flat #7. Very much a YEA, would wear any of them in a heartbeat.

  • Heather

I really like the art deco-y feel of #4. The first two… the heels are too tricky for their own good.

  • TM

Whoa, I actually like them. I would totes rock a pair of #5 with a black ensemble. You know, if I win the lottery next week or whatever.

  • teensmom99

Ummm no and I like a crazy shoe. #3 is the only one i want.

  • Barbara Affolter

Now I want some Sexy Pope Shoes.

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

    Shoes by “Aladdin”.

  • giddypony

The heels with the weird stuff in them…when will the goldfish appear?

  • StarburstLady

  • crash1212

Those first two are a absolute NAY. NAY NAY NAY! The rest I can live with. There are some really beautiful flats in there.

  • Judy_J

I like the t-strap flats and heels best.

  • decormaven

No. 10 is beautiful. There’s bit more ornamentation than I care for, but that’s a great flat.

  • marlie

The t-strap flats are cute, and the yellow heels, but the rest are too overdone for me.

  • MightyMarshal

These are going to be some awesome thrift store finds in twenty years. Yea

  • Alyssa

I like the flats, but nay as actual wearable shoes.

  • Aidan B

Shockingly, yea! I went into this expecting not to like any of them and was pleasantly surprised. Opulent but not tacky.

  • luludexter

you know that old Chanel advice that before you leave the house you should take off at least one accessory? yeah, some of these shoes could have benefited from that wisdom…

  • LilyVanessi

Oh, dear lord, no. These are just ugly. And is anyone else bothered by the fact that the embellishments don’t even line up? Those big, fat heels were hideous in the 70’s and they have not gotten any more appealing with time. And t-straps? No.

  • Paula Pertile

Some of those aren’t half bad. #7, and the last 3 on the last row. Maybe even the bootie if I was in the right mood.

  • PinkyK

    I want them all!

  • LJCdoc

I have so many questions. Do the baubles fall out of the ones with the bauble window heels? Or are those glassed in bauble window heels? If they’re glassed in, does it make rattly noises when you walk? So many questions.

The flats are ok, I guess, but I’d like them better without the t-strap, which i tend to find unflattering on pretty much everybody.

  • frannyprof

    Yea to the T-strap flats!

  • trisker

Love the flats. Heels, except for mustard, are too gimmicky.

  • Kirstin McAulay

  • Dagney

    yes please

  • Zeee

There certainly is a lot of “there” there. I like 3 and 7.

  • Michele Anne Lenni

I am in LOVE. Not only are these GORGEOUS but they also look reasonable, i.e. comfortable! Chunky heels for support an array of beautiful flats. I’M IN!

  • JauntyJohn

Although the heel cages in #’s 1 and 2 make me want someone to invent tiny go-go dancers to put in there, like the dashboard hula girls but better crafted.

    • DuBey2

I have the hula girl – she sits outside on our pool edge & the sun makes her dance. She told me she does NOT want to be a cage dancer, tho. Not even for D&G.

  • save_the_hobbit

    mhmmmmmm yesssss

  • Shelby

    Yay! I love these!

  • LMGordon

Some yays, some nays. LOVE the first four, but some of the others are too costumey.

  • Lisalady161

Yay! Love the flats, even though they remind me of the costumes from “Amadeus”.

  • Little_Olive

Except for No. 6, I cannot find a better word for the others than “overkill”

  • traceyishere

  • kimmeister

I can’t help myself, I LOVE those first two!

  • Lilithcat

The strappy mustard heels are mine!

The heels on the first two look interesting; I’d like to see the back view.

  • somebody blonde

Not so much on the really chunky heels, but I like all the rest of them, even if they border on tacky. I’ll always pick tacky over boring.

  • GemFemme

Love the color on 3 and 6. It’s really unusual and rich looking.
I can’t figure out 1 or 2. If you’re going to have things stuffed in your clear high heel at least let it be something useful like a burrito or eyebrow tweezers.

  • Bad Idea Jeans

Most of these are tacky as hell, but somehow I love them. What I love the most is that the majority are FLATS! Thank you from the bottom of my non-heel compatible feet! I mostly like the T-straps.

  • Izzy_Gremlin

    I’d say #4, 7, and 12 are OK; the rest… I’ll pass.

  • Teresa Wyatt

Absolutely love all of these garish and wacky shoe porn. It made me smile.

  • conniemd

Nay. As others have said, sometimes less is more. In the legal profession we refer to the KISS rule (keep it simple stupid). These are way overwrought.

  • SophieCollier

I like the third, sixth and seventh shoes. That’s about it.

  • Guelphcathy

Fabulous. They look like something Marie Antoinette would wear if she were alive today.

  • Gaby

I want 1, 2, 7, 8… actually just gimme all the flats. My boyfriend is the same height as me and we both love to dance and it’s more fun to dance (a) eye-to-eye and (b) without my feet screaming at me rapidly.

ETA: I have a pair of Indian embroidered flats that look a lot like these. And I love them and want to buy like 10 more pairs. Sigh.

  • willworktomorrow

    Hell yeah! YEA.

  • FierceFierceFierce

They’re good. Some of them are meh, but the flat sandals and the embellished booties are great! The chunky heels with the crystals are cool

  • quiltrx

Most of these seem ‘a bit too much’, but they all are pleasing enough to look at. I like 7 and 12 the best.

  • Columbinia

Yes to all the flats and to the gold suede T-strap heels. No to the rest of the crazy-ugly heels.

  •!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

  • demidaemon

The flats aren’t terrible, but those heels are ticky tacky. YEA on flats; NAY on heels.

  • Tracy_Flick

Yes. Because they all remind me of the Madonna Inn.

  • LambeeBaby

    Yes! Superb!

  • Deborah Newell Tornello

Numbers 3 and 6, and oh my God what do I have to do to get my hands on the red jeweled booties (#8)?

  • Mothra

    Those flats are pretty nice.

  • Kathy

Some of these remind me of the aquarium platform shoes in I’m Gonna Git You Sucka.

  • aquamarine17

the flats are too flat. come on, designers. they could be great

    • Therese Bohn

Yes, if the flats had a 1.5 inch heel I’d love them all the more!

  • DominoEstella

yea. I would adorn my feet in those if I could afford them.

  • Kikishua

You numbered them! Thank you SO much! Usually whenever someone in comments mentions a “pic 27” or similar, I’m scrolling up and down and counting, then re-counting because “that one’s not purple? oh wait…”. I’m a very interactive comments reader.

  • maretha2

    Yay Yay Yay!!!

  • alyce1213

I love all the t-straps. T-straps are pretty and very good for walking.

  • Kimmu

  • Truthiness2U

Love all the flats. Yay! for flats. And I love me some chunky heels. Let’s bring those back. So much easier to wear, when one if forced to wear heels.

  • Therese Bohn

Love all the flats! Not so much the birdcage heels, but the heels make a better display art anyway!

  • Haley Buchanan

Way too much froo-fraw. They’d melt in the rain and undoubtedly snag something on the train to work. No thank you!

  • Begoña GarcíaBaquero

yea yea yea yea and a million times yea!!

  • S-k-s

love the flats, hate the heels

  • Shannon

I’ll take 7 and 11. Burn the rest.

  • Bradio311

Holy pimp heels! I want me some of these for my next drag act!

  • DuBey2

    YEA. especially 2 and 6

  • Erica Woods Tucker

Mostly yes. I love those blue shoes.

  • annmartina

I would buy one of every style if I could afford it. They’re beautiful.

  • Kimberly Wilcox

They definitely resemble a high court shoe – sort of pre-revolution France…or even pre-revolution Russia. Basically they’re audacious enough to fit into any court that was ousted by revolution….

  • kategs

    Unreservedly love.

  • lilazander

Those flats I like a lot, yea.

  • Radish

  • amaranth16

Hell yes. Put me in #3 right now.

  • ktr33

1 & 2 are fun, if not a little silly, but love 3. Edward Gorey Lady shoe. And the t-strap flats are charming.

  • Jellybeanz

Hate those clear heels. Jewels in them today, dollar bills in them tomorrow?
