This dress only seems to work when you’re walking the runway. When you’re just standing there, it looks pretty awkward and not that pretty.
What do you expect when she’s wearing a cotton Schwab?
Now THAT’S hilarious. I may be 18 hours late to the party, but still.
It needs some SWIRL to it.
It looks ill fitted and the wrong look for standing on a beach. Also her jewelery is clearly from the Garanimals line of matching clothing and accessories.
I think this is where the model’s long torso has the advantage, both the illusion at the neckline (looks too choking on Freida) and the floral hemline suit the taller person better. I like the idea behind that hemline though, a lot.
Yes, I do too. I could totally pull this off because I am long and lean. it is not a medium sized, or short lady look. Although I did immediatly think about how it looked a little like a really fun sheet, poking out from under one of those crisp white bed covers from a really clean Bed and Breakfast.
Fit issues. Maybe it’d look better if she were stomping down a runway.
Looks like a strangely-folded napkin. Those shoes are way too heavy for that look.
Those shoes are too heavy for just about any look imaginable!
Needs to be in constant motion for it to work.
See JLo’s self-made wind machine for details.
Poor girl was at the beach, after all. It was bad luck that there was not a whiff of a breeze there.
Personally, I hate to wear a strapless anything, BUT, I do not see why the not-illusional illusion neeting is needed here. It adds nothing, detracts a bunch, and I would think this dress could be a strapless one.
I like the peak of blue at the bottom.
Why are all the celebs so blah and boring this summer?
She constantly underwhelms me. Her style choices such too because I can see the promise of this dress on the model…. not great either but better
Agreed. She either underwhelms me (but I usually think, “YOU ARE WASTING YOUR BEAUTY!”), or she gets it completely wrong and I’m wincing.
I’m setting the fashion expectations sky high for this one, because she is gorgeous. 911! New team of stylists needed!
She is beautiful. So’s the dress. But the beach needs a combing.
I was okay with this until I saw the shoe. That heavy black shoe just ruins it.
I’m not sure this dress would flatter anyone. It’s definitely only doing bad things to poor Freida. On the bright side, I do like the necklace.
Cher in a bed sheet.
Sand + platforms and white dress…that hem must’ve been a mess after the event.
I like the colours of the necklace, but it looks kinda cheap upon closer inspection. The jewels remind me of the top halves of ring pops.
Ugh, when is this illusion netting trend going to end?
She looks so uncomfortable in this dress.
I’m getting frustrated by all the visible illusion netting lately. It seems to defeat the purpose.
Maybe if she took that necklace and used it as a belt. Seems like she needs more waist definition.
The shoes and the necklace need to go. Also, it just doesn’t fit right across the hips. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s just creased from sitting…?
“Nobody told me this was on the fucking beach”.
Ok- just take it off. But if she really needs to wear it, have it tailored to her not model-height so that her waist is more defined, the splits start higher and the hem ends earlier.
That also means she is not forced to wear massive wedges when this is a dress for dainty heels.
It looks like you’d be tripping all over that inner sheer panel when you walk.
I waited for that necklace to go on sale at Target before I bought it.
This doesn’t look venue appropriate at all, and the necklace is a misguided attempt at accessorizing.
The dress is certainly problematic but those shoes, what a needle scratch moment.
I like her hair and makeup.I like the dress, too – but NOT the shoes.
Totally wrong shoes. And I don’t like the non-illusion illusion netting on Frieda it’s not working with the necklace. If the netting weren’t there, or if it was really invisible, I’d be ok with the necklace. But Frieda is as lovely as always, and I think her hair and makeup look great.
Who decided that sand was a good place for starlets to stand and pose for pictures? Kind of setting them up for failure, it seems.
Shorten the dress and make it so it moves. Take off those chunky black shoes. Take off that illusion neck and give the strapless neckline some shape.
I was hoping your third sentence would rhyme with your first two!
Gorgeous woman trapped in a bad dress and shoes. Please help!
That illusion netting is not fooling me.
Her face is so pretty. Too bad about the horrid dress and clomper shoes.
Freida is wearing a cotton Schwab.
I like the idea of the world’s most beautiful woman in a bold necklace. That is all I like about this: the idea.
Is it dragging in the sand!?!
I want to choke-gag on those shoes and I can’t even see but half of them. The waist-up is pretty.
Even the camera angles are unflattering
Mmmm close but not quite. Gorgeous makeup and jewelry, though I hate that the jewelry matches the details in the dress so literally. And though I love the idea of the dress, it’s fitting awkwardly and doing strange things to her body. It might be a dress that only looks good when it’s moving.
Also, those shoes are way too clunky for this look. Nice effort, but this is a total Monet — when you start looking closer, it all falls apart. That said, she remains incredibly beautiful and I would pay good money to have her skin. Not in a Buffalo Bill way, to clarify.
She’s a stunning beauty, but her outfits usually detract from her loveliness instead of complimenting it. How hard can it be to dress this woman?
Top half looks gorgeous, bottom half not so much.
Appears to be a “FWO” dress…for walking only.
HUNEY…whenever there is a large horizontal ripple effect across your tummy region…this means the dress is too tight. Get out of it before u get in front of a camera!
The “illusion” kinda fails when the netting don’t match the skin tone.
