Outfit #5 belongs to Adam Lambert…. Not sure I’d want to see the rest on anyone!

      • Starts with K

I kept thinking of Johnny Depp with the proliferation of wind chime accessories. But you nailed it- Adam Lambert.

      • Glam Dixie

I didn’t like it until you said that, now I want to see this happen. He would rock it so hard.

        • Karen Belgrad

I opted to tweet it to Adam Lambert, with an @ to Robert Cavalli.

I’ve done my part to make this happen. :)

          • Glam Dixie

Not that’s he’s busy right now or anything, ha, but I hope he sees it!

            • Karen Belgrad

Everyone should RT it! (I’m @karenb0716) to it shows up in his notifications repeatedly, LOL :)

    • Jessica Freeman

      Well that’s….different.

    • http://www.snoskred.org/ Snoskred

I don’t even know what to say. :) I guess..

      this happened?

    • Danielle

      CRIKEY WHAT A BEAUT

    • Gatto Nero

      Of course.
I see a few echoes of Versace here.

    • mjude

I don’t care for this at all. jersey shore pants

      • BayTampaBay

Do not like the way the clothes are presented here but each piece individually I very much like.

    • Funkykatt

Some of those pants remind me of the hostess pants Lucy chose for Ethel when Fred was going to buy her a toaster for her birthday. Ethel thought they were ridiculous and Lucy was offended.

    • FibonacciSequins

I like many of the silhouettes, although as with womenswear right now, I’m seeing a lot of necklines that are too wide/low for my taste. I don’t know a single man who would wear most of these prints, but I suppose they exist somewhere. If I could afford them, I’d buy those blue pants and have them tailored to fit me, that’s how much I love them.

    • desertsweetpea

3rd from bottom is giving me some hybrid Cary Elewes/Axil Rose 1993 vibes.

      • kimmeister

Cary Elwes in “The Princess Bride,” to be specific!

    • In_Stitches

I want those green leather pants.

      • demidaemon

Weirdly, I do as well. One of the few pieces in the collection i actually covet.

    • Kent Roby

I love this collection; it’ll make it easy to spot the douche wearing them from 50 feet away.

      • Imasewsure

Too true…. It is nice to have an Early Warning System built directly in to the design…

      • Anna

That is one advantage to these clothes. It should be a standard issue uniform for them.

      • Noah

Truth. Spotting a douchecanoe from afar helps me get in my own canoe and paddle away in time.

      • kirkyo

        My thoughts scrolling down:
        Douche
        Oh god what is that?
        Cute Douche
        Asian douche
        Douche
        Douche
        Half-naked douche

      • Thomas

I just realized that this collection might be perfect for Robin Thicke.

        • demidaemon

You know, everything here does reek of him, now that I think about it.

    • RescueMe23

I just don’t have any words left for these menswear collections…no words.

      • schadenfreudelicious

        I do, batshit crazy!

        • evave2

Agreed BUT the guy in the floral or whatever print pants ALONE #11 gets my hubba hubba.

The rest look like lounge lizard-wear emphasis on the lizard.

    • http://attiresmind.blogspot.com/ Kiltdntiltd

every one of these screams, “I’m a huge douche canoe, and you should run if you value your sanity.”

      • kirkyo

        …and/or your eyes.

    • sienna elm

Slytherin House meets Club Kids ~

      • conniemd

yeah, animal prints and drop crotch pants – what’s not to like?

    • Bad Idea Jeans

Gross. Gross. Gross. Gross. Gross. Gross. Gross. Gross. Gross. Gross. Gross. Gross.
That was my internal monologue as I scrolled through each image.

    • Frank_821

styling aside, this is the least repulsive men’s collection this month. The collection feels spring but they look wearable with a minimal amount of alteration for the general public. I don’t love this collection but I don’t hate it either and I can see a lot of this being able to be used in a guy’s wardrobe a lot easier than moschino and the rest of the more wtf-ish collections

      • RL McGruder

Agreed! I hate the styling, but would see so many individual pieces looking fine as hell in a well-dressed man’s wardrobe.

      • The Counselor

Yeah, Cavalli (for men or women) usually falls far outside my tastes, but I feel like I’m responding a lot less negatively to this collection simply because of comparing it to all the other terrible ones we’ve seen…

      • Thomas

I found the Prada collection a lot less repulsive than this.

        • demidaemon

So far, my favorite has been D & G, mostly for their impeccable suits.

          • Thomas

I liked that one too, except for the shirts were too big.

            • demidaemon

Yeah, I’m purposefully ignoring all the bull theme stuff. :)

            • Thomas

I do really like #13 down though.

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOctocornNetwork International Model

      Duran Duran cover band convention.

      • NMMagpie

        ^ THIS.

    • Lori

Of all the cranktastic menswear we’ve seen for this season, this is the first collection that made me actually LOL. Well done, #21. Well done.

I kind of love those green leather pants, although that’s yet another case of “What actual guy is going to be able to wear those?”, but most of the rest of this is fugly. Prime example, are those things around their waists actually part of the pants or are they some sort of really ugly cummerbund or what?

      • Frank_821

I think those sashes are just a styling thing for the runway since some of the models are sporting scarves of similar fabric

        • Lori

That’s better than them being part of the pants, so there’s that. With this season’s menswear we have to take our small mercies where we find them.

      • marlie

I like the green leather pants too, but I can’t imagine any guystar wearing them.

        • Lori

I can’t either. I think there are a few people who might try the jackets, and as others have noted Adam Lambert may end up rocking some of the other pieces, but if someone wears those green pants and wears them well I’ll be both shocked and delighted.

        • demidaemon

          Jared Leto?

          • marlie

            YES. He’d kill in those.

    • quiltrx

Okay, I’m convinced that all designers decided that for Spring 2015, men should bring out their inner Gaudy Douche and parade it around. Sigh.
I hope they all have had fun, because I don’t think they’re going to sell much of this stuff.

    • Kathy

I’m not loving this collection, but there’s one model giving off a distinct Freddie Mercury vibe. He’s the bomb!

    • StarburstLady

Menswear designers seem to be having a Miami moment. Can’t say I’m on board.

    • BlairBear

I guess menswear designers have been spending too much time drinking and drugging at the same euro gay bar and it’s reflected in their designs

    • barbarienne

Courting Middle East oil money, I see.

(To clarify: this is a recognition of the different cultural standards of how colorfully a man is allowed to dress. Not a judgement on middle easterners in any other manner.)

    • Mr. J.

These are some of the ugliest clothes I have ever seen. Am I wrong? AM I WRONG?

    • JauntyJohn

LOVE the shoes. Like one of the bags and a couple of the scarves.
The rest is a little too “Call Central Casting and get me some guys who look like coke dealers! Now!”

    • Tracy_Flick

I love the shade of the green leather. Everything else – uff da.

    • formerlyAnon

I hate snakeskin print even more than I hate animal print. So, yeah.

Me, I think it hovers somewhere between Hair Band Redux and Retro Disco Night on a fairly flamboyant cruise.

Though I can see pieces that some could extract, if they want to work that hard on it. (Green leather pants, for instance).

    • Anna

Harem pants for men…I predict Justin Bieber will get a hold of these, and that thought terrifies me.

    • prettybigkitty

      Hahahahahahahah!

    • http://urban-gypsy.com/ Tess Danesi

Every one of these menswear collections has me asking the eternal question, “who’s your girl and where’s she going?” To this I have no answer.

      • WendyD

EXACTLY!! I look at the women’s collections and I can picture SOME starlet or heiress wearing SOMETHING from most of the collections, but WHO are the men that wear these clothes?! I’ve never seen them on a red carpet.

    • Imasewsure

Guess even lounge lizards need new togs… do like the idea of shipping some of this off to Mr. Glambert though… he could work some of it very nicely

    • boweryboy

Nope. No. Nuh-uh. Nah. No way. Nothing doing.

    • BobStPaul

My reactions as I scrolled down: “Oh, Jesus,” LOL, “Oh, God.”

    • kimmeister

I like the two croc-embossed leather jackets. That’s about it.

      • marlie

Yep. And the green leather pants. But that’s it. And there’s no guy who comes to mind who would wear this stuff… those are totally things that I’d love to rock.

        • kimmeister

I like the green leather pants too, but I can’t imagine them being worn by everyday folk. I would, however, rock the two jackets like a bad mamma jamma.

    • Heather

I actually snorted when I saw that second photo.

Mostly… this is pretty douche-tastic. But lordy do I want that green leather jacket to be worn by some awesome famous people.

    • http://trooperschaf.blogspot.de/ TrooperSchaf

compared to the other collections, this one classifies as wearable… I don’t really know if that is a compliment in that context, though.

    • NMMagpie

Those stripes… Looks like some one had a messy in their snaky pants.

I am convinced there is some sort of men’s fashion conspiracy theory going on.

    • suzq

Men, you can now wear lizard (snake) while you are BEING a lizard (snake)! I just hope you get a better fit than some of these models have.

    • marlie

I sort of want the green leather motorcycle jacket for myself, but the rest is ridiculously tacky.

    • KT

For all the men out there who want to look like wealthy octogenarians living in a Miami retirement community.

    • icm

I actually like most of the shoes ,the rest of everything else not so much.I get that design is a creative process and that menswear at best can be somewhat limiting. But the last few posts of mens collections just screams “If i wear this in public people will point and laugh!”

    • TinyDynamo

      Tacky narcissistic man whore. Barf.

    • KateShouldBeWorking

Keep the pecs, lose the rest.

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

The tropical florals remind me that yesterday I saw a hipster boy (with the perfect Grizzly Adams beard) wearing a Hawaiian shirt and board shorts in coordinating but not identical lurid florals. It was a bold look.

    • MilaXX

So the designers seem to have turned their attention to men this year and decided they need to look as ridiculous as the women. This looks like a line custom made for Justin Beiber. The only thing I see translating into real world wear is the foot wear.

      • demidaemon

In some ways, I’m glad to see this equity finally coming to pass. In other ways, not so much.

    • MaggieMae

I saw “Roberto Cavalli” and braced myself to dislike everything. And? I was right!

    • QuietHarper

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm…. pecs are nice. I think somebody lost sight of ‘who is this person, and where are they going?’ ‘Cause I can’t think of a single place to go while wearing drop-crotch pants in wild patterns, a coordinating-ish shirt open-down-to-there, and a scarf cummerbund. Clearly, the designer had douche nailed down — and while I am not usually very interested in where a douche would be going — I just can’t imagine anyplace to wear this.

    • lalahartma

      Eek.

    • Lily

Coming to a taxidermist near you!

    • Wattage

So sad that MC Hammer had to sell his wardrobe…

    • crash1212

Not feeling any of this. Well, the shoes are OK. I’m thinking Justin Bieber would be quite at home with this line.

    • numenah

#11 is a woman’ top, ftlog!

    • PastryGoddess

      Of Course

    • smayper

PERFECT for a production of Pippin. Just add some random pieces of armor and we’re good to go. They did it in Cambridge with a circus theme, and these pieces would blend right in. Purple and black one? Ideal.

    • Nancer

Amid some things here that are laughable, I see some solid separates that boy stars could break out of these looks and really rock. Of course, Joe Average wouldn’t touch any of this with a ten foot pole. Which, since I am Jane Average, I am totally cool with.

    • MissusBee

      HANSEL

    • Ann VerWiebe

      Flashback!

    • http://armchairauthor.wordpress.com/ LesYeuxHiboux

Harry Potter Gigolo, new from Roberto Cavalli!

    • Trickytrisha

Only one I like is 5th down… I’d wear that in a heartbeat. Not so sure any guy I know would.

    • demidaemon

I like the black and green leather pieces, but everything else reminds me of clothes I wore in middle school. This is not a good correlation. Also: hammer pants. BLARGH.

    • Jai Piper

All the pants are so very . . . . crotchtastic. It’s disturbing.

    • t bell

Are we even going to see a men’s collection that real guys would wear? I am in no way alluding to sexual preference.

    • PumpkintheCat

I ask in all seriousness: does anyone ACTUALLY wear this stuff IRL?

    • Melmmmendes

      MIAMI VICE.

The only thing I like about this is the killer Michael Mann inspired set that is going on behind them.

      • Melmmmendes

Also, if this is what is happening, I think I need to take a break from the fashion world. All the 90s stuff…and then this…I can’t.

    • http://www.momforless.com/ Crystal

      Golden Girls for men.

    • Beardslee

I showed this to two young men who like clothes – seemingly the age that would be interested in this collection. “Tell me as I’m scrolling if you see anything you like.” Silence.

    • http://www.lippsisters.com/ Deborah Lipp

I really want to go hang out somewhere with hot guys in floral suits.

    • Mona_Visa

I’m pretty sure the bags they’re carrying contain drug money.

    • jangma

I love the jackets. Everything else is… well.

    • kategs

good lord all of the men’s collections are just so silly. ish.

    • JynxTheCat

YAY!!!!!!!! Models on the adult side of puberty! HOOOORAY! Green leather pants…boooooo! Slouchy print seethrough long sleeve pull over…mine.

    • Derek_anny

Fifth outfit. On the one hand, I really like it on him. On the other hand, I really want to make a “shed your skin” pickup line. But it’s such a cool look.
