I love all of this. I want it all. It makes me queef.

      • JynxTheCat

        and thats a good thing?

    • Thomas

Finally a collection I can completely get behind!

      • demidaemon

        Indeed. ;)

      • tmchale

        Quite literally.

    • Wink

Wow! Yes to everything except the bejeweled jumpsuit. I just can’t.

      • marlie

Those are the only pieces that I think don’t belong. I just can’t get behind those.

    • lecoffeeaddict

      Love love love love LOVE

    • StarburstLady

Hidden Vs everywhere– it’s like being in an Alan Moore adaptation.

Also, the best menswear I’ve seen from the Spring 2015 collections so far.

      • Kent Roby

I just walked my dog, and I picked up a bag of stuff from him that was better than most of the other mens collections we’ve seen!

    • crash1212

The updated Charlie Brown. I want those round sunglasses in the first pic though.

      • alyce1213

        THAT’S what it is.

      • Imasewsure

Wow you nailed it. Just need a football and a really bitchy sister to complete the references

      • TAGinMO

        Plus Bedazzled Flight Suits.

    • mjude

this one I like. at least I get it or I think I get it.

    • Danielle

Louis Vuitton: Making all your park ranger fantasies come true.

      • marlie

I wish. My bf *is* a park ranger, and I don’t think I could get him into a single item in this collection.

        • Danielle

Yeah, but you probably get to do him in a tree blind, which is infinitely more appealing.

        • demidaemon

          Not even the khakis?

          • marlie

Well, maybe the khakis. But that’s about it.

    • Kent Roby

Almost all of this is really nice and wearable. Even the mirrored jumpsuit is great, ONLY if one is attending a really-gay Top Gun-themed soiree!

      • demidaemon

Isn’t “really gay” and “Top Gun” kind of redundant? ;)

    • hughman

Model who is a Joaquin Phoenix look alike. WE GET IT. “Her”, normcore, etc.

      Also, one bomber jacket, please.

      • another_laura

Ha! Yes, from the tippy top of his Brylcream do to the sole of his white sneakers.

      • kimmeister

Several of them are actively scowling.

    • Sarah

Not feeling the UPS salesman, and the all-white suit with turtleneck is giving me an International Crime Boss vibe, but the vee-shirts are cool.

      • Thomas

Do you think he’s carrying an Uzi in that briefcase?

        • Sarah

          Orrr…one BILLION dollars?

          • Thomas

It’s the perfect Russian mafia uniform.

          • kimmeister

Orrrr, he could haughtily ask, “Have you ever seen what ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars looks like?” and then dramatically flip open his briefcase to reveal a tiny stack of bills surrounded by nothingness.

            • Sarah

Excellent. Maybe he has a small cat in there, for diabolical stroking.

    • Gatto Nero

Very prep, with a twist. Crisp and clean. Those chevron shirts have a Missoni vibe.

      • evave2

I think all the models are styled to look like extras from a 1950s prep school movie. They detract for me; I don’t particularly like the chevron shirts but they are a much better look than any other men’s shows we’ve seen here. But that mustard yellow top/shorts (or is that a short jump suit) would never be worn by anyone. I can’t see it on anyone (it will probably be the best-selling look from the collection).

        • Gatto Nero

Nothing really sets my heart fluttering, but there’s a very clear direction here overall. I can’t really imagine the mustard jumpsuit on anyone off the runway either.

        • anonylind

I dunno. They’re all giving me a very Hitler Youth vibe. It kinda creeps me out. I do like most of the clothes though.

    • Beardslee

Love the high waisted pants – nice to see them again – and the crotch that isn’t drooping sadly.

    • TinyDynamo

Despite the Boy Scout circa 1982 belt, I love this. And I think it will translate well into a real world look. Nicely done!

    • Alyssa

I like a lot of this! It’s good to see a menswear collection with minimal WTF-ery.

    • Tami from Seattle

I see Bond Villains and Roller Disco.

    • marlie

THIS is a great collection. I like the late 60s vibe, but I also like the fact that so much of this collection IS translatable to the real world.

    • Frank_821

I like the suits and the overcoats and fabulous but personally I think the collection is a little schizoid with the casual wear and the top gun motif.

Also I think many of the models picked for this collection are completely wrong. Some of them look way too severe

      • Sarah

I think a few of them are really too small for the clothes. I mean, I get that the loose look might be part of it, but for instance that kid in the brown shorts/shirt is looking like he borrowed Dad’s Scoutmaster uniform. And I agree – the bomber jackets are fine ( I like them) but the blue bedazzled flight suits are sort of a needle scratch.

    • kimmeister

The ones with the large, single chevron in front remind me of the Vuarnet T-shirts that were so ubiquitous around 1990.

    • PastryGoddess

The boys are a bit twink-ish, but I love the clothes.

      Look ma!, no gratuitous underwear

    • Ashleigh

FINALLY!! Something reasonable in the men’s department

    • FibonacciSequins

The double-breasted suits with turtlenecks are very Uncle Norman on Courtship of Eddie’s Father. The shirtsleeves are too big. The dour models have Ken hair. But, the lines are mostly clean and most of these pieces are wearable. I wish someone would make an affordable women’s version of those roomy zippered flight pants.

      • mjude

        uncle norman!!!

        • FibonacciSequins

I know! Aren’t you in the mood to watch an episode now?

    • Ashleigh

Especially like the fuchsia (which I always thought was spelled FUSCIA)

    • boweryboy

Yay. Real world clothes, but I can not and will not get behind high waisted pants.

      • SugarSnap108

I cannot abide by high-waisted pants (for women either). They just … No.

      • Glam Dixie

Why not? Don’t you want to look like someone’s grandpa?

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOctocornNetwork International Model

      Very VIPs.

    • BlairBear

Better than most but nothing inviting lust. It’s the sartorial equivalent of warm milk

    • Bad Idea Jeans

Full-on Wes Anderson movie costume garments (this is not a complaint). I can completely imagine Willem Dafoe in that white suit.

    • uprightcitizen

Maybe it’s just the styling, but those short-sleeved shirts with high-waisted pants pretty much look like someone’s grandpa going to the early bird buffet. And the short romper? Looks like something a North Korean dictator would wear. I suppose it was inevitable that the fashion industry would try to make men get completely undressed to go the bathroom, the way they’ve been making women do for decades. The bomber jackets are cool, though.

    • PinkyK

I love those crazy zig zag shirts! The only real low point for me was the navy blue and sparkly jumpsuit; gay mechanic!

    • CPK1

Love the shirts with the pink diagonal stripes

    • Jacqueline Wessel

Nice collection, but no thighs. sighs

    • MilaXX

Love everything but the blue pieces with the frou frou on it.

    • Imasewsure

Wow I only like the brown tennis shoes and the blue parachute pants… go figure… worlds better than what we have seen recently though!!

    • Noah

BE STILL MY HEART, A NOT SUCKY MENSWEAR COLLECTION THIS SEASON!?

    • NMMagpie

Some great jackets and suits. Not entirely sure about the high waisted pants.

    • Steve Ek

The fuschia jumpsuit looks like something from a cheap 80′s video, but the jumpsuits were the only things in the collection that made me giggle a bit. The coats and jackets are gorgeous, but that mustardy gold would be hard for most people to pull off without looking jaundiced.

    • SugarSnap108

Why so down, boys? You’re wearing some spiffy, colorful clothes!

I like a lot of this, but just don’t care for high-waisted pants or sparkly jumpsuits as a general rule.

    • sleepycat

Like this collection the shirts are awesome and wouldn’t mind adding them to the rotation. Now if I had the money and was the proper size. Oh and just no to the jumpsuit.

    • Shawn EH

Finally some clothes for boys! I was going to say we were escaping the eighties until I saw the jumpsuits, but these are still a pretty good take on casual style. Great colors, and a little bit of seedy 70s James Bond (Roger Moore model) go a long way!

    • alyce1213

Not sure I’m on board with slopey-shouldered men’s coats, tight satin bomber jackets, and jumpsuits in general, but this a lot of this looks quite wearable and likable, in a twee way. For young’uns only.
Also what crash1212 said: The Charlie Brown Collection by Louis Vuitton.

    • Lilah

Total white bread again. Do these men’s designers not believe in diversity?

    • Daxx2513

Some nice retro, geek chic touches, but my first thought was “This is what we get now that they let us gays in the boy scouts”.

    • joything

The high-waisted pants make me think of the movie “Her.”

      • suzq

No belt on some of them, either.

    • unbornfawn

Finally, a menswear collection for grown-ups.

    • t bell

I can’t believe it so I’ll have to look again but there actually might be a few items in this collection that I would wear.

    • suzq

Double breasted jackets….really? Has the economy bounced back that much that we can embrace them again?
“Her” pants–high waisted, no belt. My boys don’t like wearing belts, generally. Maybe this is the next gen of pants.
Three collections in and I declare that the short jacket, nipped to the waist is a thing. I’m not sure I like that thing, but there it is.
It’s nice that Louis Vuitton makes a case that can carry a small PowerPoint projector, because the guys I know could totally use one of those.

    • Synnamin

Hmm. 1940′s vibe. I think I like it, although that Pearlie flight suit is terrifying.

    • demidaemon

NEWSFLASH: JUMPSUITS ARE NOT JUST FOR WOMEN ANYMORE. NOW FOR MEN! AND WITH RIVETS!

Now that I have gotten that out of my system, I do pretty much adore this collection. I wish there was a little less khaki, but these are by far the best fitting pants I’ve seen thus far. They are emphasizing all the models well-toned rears, and I love it. Also love most of the tops here too.

    • quiltrx

I’m not really feeling the nerd chic. I do like the chevron…well…blouses.

    • Monkey Toe

High-waisted pants and ugly short-sleeved secretarial blouses cinched with military belts! Yuck.

    • m3grrl

The models wearing sunglasses are happy because nobody can see them laughing off their asses. Or laughing their asses off. Not sure which, but they’re laughing.

    • Mona_Visa

      Zoolander model assassin gear.

    • Modeniete

Are sallow complexions in this season?
To paraphrase the Countess of Trentham:
“Difficult color, ochre. Hm. Very tricky.”

    • Trickytrisha

Can I use the word sissy?

      • Edie Rose

Thank you for speaking the truth.
These clothes make the models look like little boys who have been dressed by their grandmothers (My grandmother was never satisfied until my pants were under my armpits).

      • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

        No.

    • Vainte

The high-waisted pants with Greg Brady shirts make me wince. After the last few week, I weep for mens fashion.

I’ll take the sunglasses, and call them collateral damage.

    • Aurumgirl

I was in love with that mustard colour until we got to the mustard coloured romper. It looks like my gym uniform from catholic school, and it is not good.

    • MoHub

Yes! A men’s collection that has interesting features without looking as if it was designed for either women or porn stars.

    • Crystal

I love this. This is the first one you’ve posted that I have unequivocally LOVED. It’s so sharp and FUN.

    • Patrick Cleary

Love all of this! Finally, short-sleeved shirts that don’t look like the Hawaii’an shirts worn by the Linux programmers here at work.

    • http://www.lippsisters.com/ Deborah Lipp

Flared-hip suit jackets with high-waisted pants are nobody’s friend.

    • formerlyAnon

These are mostly wearable, but (can’t believe I’m saying this) strike me as mostly unexciting-to-dull with a little bit of ugly. (I’m not a big fan of the chevron pattern, and when the color scheme shifts to a mix of browns it’s ’70s in a bad way, for me.)

I see expensive clothes on men chosen for their ability to look good in and to show off clothing – and I don’t look at any of these and think “that’d turn my head if I saw it on the street.” Except the disliked chevron and the zipped, patched & bedazzled pants & jacket in the lovely dark blue. And I wouldn’t, I think, be admiring.

They’re fine. And no doubt feel great on because they’re made well of good fabric. But maybe all the nutso has ruined my eye.

    • Rich Sitelogin

Liking everything except the color-blocked V/X tops. The chevron patterned tops are strangely appealing to me.

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

Eh, let’s pop down to Egg Harbor eh what what?

    • Starts with K

The model for that first look- doesn’t he look a lot like Matt Smith? I can TOTALLY see our Doctor friend rocking that look, but hopefully with a better belt.

    • Fräulein K.

I’m so happy to see waists approaching the actual waist, finally. Really nice collection, on the whole.

    • JynxTheCat

      trench yes. Everything else. no.
