“MOM, HURRY! I GOTTA PEE!”
Scrolldown fug. That said, makeup again on point!
This girl doesn’t even need makeup, maybe a little lip gloss and a dab of sparkly eyeshadow, so that does not count.
It seems like someone has figured out powder and/or blotting papers! That – and a teensy bit of color so the camera flashes don’t wash her out – is really all she ever needed, so it’s gratifying to see her looking so lovely.
Yes! I was so relieved to see that she isn’t wearing too much pale eyeshadow and that she isn’t shiny in these pictures!
Those shoes are all kinds of wrong for that dress.
They scream, “hey, I’m gonna match that tiny swatch of black on the dress!”
They also scream “hey, my stylist has shitty taste in shoes!”
They are not working for the dress or Elle.
She seems young to have a pair of my bunion is killing me shoes
Those shoes are all kind of wrong, period. Yeep.
Even with another dress, they would be wrong. Poor Elle, she’s probably relying on her stylist for total guidance. In time, she’ll learn. I hope. There’s so much potential with this one.
I wish I could see them close up, but I think I love the shoes the model is wearing.
Love the shoes on the model. Elle’s shoes are super fug. Very Christina Hendricks
They look like maroon and red taffeta loafers?
Would have loved to see her wearing the same necklace as the model.
Would love to see her with the same neckline as the model
Not super into the belt thing (which looks sort of like her intestines might be trying to escape?), but her hair and makeup are so pretty! She’s been looking a lot less washed out in the face on this press tour which has historically been a Fanning problem.
I can give a thumbs up to everything but the color of the dress. The whole look is great but why do they have to go with skin color in the dress?
I wonder if she got a new mua?
Since when are droopy flowers considered applique?
Andie Walsh realness.
Cute dress. Bad idea shoes.
Ella Fanning makes me hate my pores.
Horrible cheap looking “belt”… ugly shoes, cute face!
She always looks rugged, sweaty and dirty. No bueno.
Make up and hair looking better than most of hers we’ve seen before. Not too keen on the dress though, it doesn’t look particularly well fitted. Shoes – ugh.
Awful dress and terrible shoes. Her face looks cute but she really has to do something about that yellow hair.
I like the dress, but step away from the pale pink, Elle!
I like the dress (in another color on Elle) except for that limp bit of whatever on the belt. That’s just sad.
Somebody’s makeup stylist finally woke up from a nap.
Hate it. So she’s supposed to be a princess, isn’t a pale blue princess-y? Girl needs a bit of color, and maybe a different shade of blonde.
That color with her hair? And wilted flowers at her waist? Triste.
I think she would look so much better as a brunette, in other words, natural. Sorry, but I can’t get over it.
That color might be nice for her … if her hair were a different color. I hate that YELLOW hair against that dusty rose dress.
Glad I’m not the only one who is bugged by her as a blonde.
So she’s not a natural blonde? I was wondering, because honestly, the thing that makes the dress color not work, is the hair.
She might be a natural blonde (I don’t know) but that’s not a particularly natural shade of blonde.
Today I learned I use “whiteboard” as a verb. Because I saw this and thought “Oh damn they whiteboarded her?” Which does sound slightly like a torture technique for the insanely critical. So it kind of makes sense.
Gorgeous makeup again! But the colour of the dress is too matchy with her skin. Plus it’s a pretty ugly dress in general.
Why will nobody tell her that that shade of pale pink looks hideous on her?!? GAH. In the words of my 4YO son, “I just hate it.”
Honey, don’t do the model poses on the red carpet. It doesn’t work.
The fabric is kind of “super-absorbent paper towel” but I think the color is more the problem. And the shoes, of course. The awful shoes, which are giving her such total goat feet.
I like the idea of the dress more than the execution. And I completely irrationally hate that particular shade of pink. I give her points, though, for gorgeous makeup and what looks like an attempt to take the princess vibe someplace a little more sophisticated.
Now I’m back to wishing she would wear a color. That dress is sort of shapeless and a little boring. Her makeup and hair are pretty though. Also, those shoes are horribly unflattering.
I want the model’s shoes, but in a size that fit.
Do you think the model is hiding her face in shame?
Cute dress but this shade of pink isn’t working for her
Is this Lanvin via H&M sales rack??? Cuz that’s a sad dress. Looks like it was dragged on the floor of a summer sale or something. And those shoes….oh dear….sadder even, they look like old lady slippers.
I’m sick of this young lady and her outfits already. I really need that hair out of her face. It makes her look so dour.
HUNEY…your flower needs some fluffing…just saying!
Oh honey, give Gramma her shoes back.
I wish it were a bit more of a color, but this dress is cute and flattering for her. Someone’s finally getting the right makeup for her complexion, too.
The color is blah on her, the “flower” is wilted, and those shoes belong in the retirement home.
In my dream world Elle Fanning actually despises pale pinks and peaches, but somehow she got herself tangled up in a contract that requires her to wear pastels for the duration of her poledance. She can’t wait for this to be over so she can start wearing FUCHSIA! and TEAL, and maybe even some BLACK!
That is not a pretty dress.
I can’t tell if it’s the sticking out the pockets stance she has, but the proportions look totally off to me.
she looks washed out and her hair clashes with the color of the dress. When is she ever going to do anything with her hair? It just hangs there and short of washing it, she never does anything with it.
Shoes are too clunky but cute otherwise. I like the raw edges on the dress.
Too close to her skin color. Might as well wear white, since noncolor is not helping.
As always, her hair gives me a sad.
Dirty dishtowel made of grandma’s sateen bed sheets. This is one mess after another.
Why does she insist on wearing colors that do nothing for her?
Needs different shoes and the big-ass necklace.
Not loving the shoes on her or on the model but I really really love the dress…
Washed-out, as usual.
I actually like this on her. Not sure quite why–the slightly faded, worn-out look of the dress works for her somehow–maybe because more elaborate detailed stuff seems to kind of drown out her looks. It’s a bit like January Jones-she’s very pretty, but the style range isn’t that huge. Both she and Jones are too pale and delicate for a lot of looks. Would have changed the shoe though–too dark and heavy for the rest of it.
Very cute. Hate those shoes. Every time I see her I flash on “Somewhere.” I loved that movie and what she did with Stephen Dorf. I’m a fan.
Horrible shoes! strikingly horrible! They don’t go, and they make her feet look like hooves!
That yellow hair kills me.
Irrational dislike for this one.
