Posted on May 16, 2014

Kittens, here’s something pretty and easy to digest to help you jump start your morning. A boy donut, as it were.

Attaboy. Way to Willis It The Fuck Up, son.

The color’s a little baby spew and the fit’s just every so slightly off, but it’s a really great look overall. We’re not loving the matched tie, but we have to admit, the striped shirt sets it off nicely. A real head-turner of a look – and that’s not always easy for the boys to do.

    • Sam Smith

      Yum.

      • stephbellard

He’s SO beautiful, if he walked by my construction site, I’d grab my crotch and whistle.

    • Lolo Andre

      Crisp Yummy

    • ktr33

HATE the lapels; everything else is cutecutecute.

      • YoungSally

        Char”cute”rie

    • clatie

I don’t know who he is, but, damn, he FINE.

      • hellyesiwould

His instagram is one of the prettiest things ever.

        • WendyD

          AMEN!

      • gabbilevy

He plays a very angsty superhero-to-be on Arrow… it’s a cast full of verrrrry purity men.

        • ScarlettHarlot

I know, between Slade, Diggle, Ollie, Captain Jack Merlyn, and Roy, it’s hard not to gasp and sigh through the episodes.

          • gabbilevy

I read “Captain Jack Merlyn” and it didn’t even occur to me at first that *wasn’t* actually his name. Because that’s definitely what I call him in my head.

        • CT14

He was a wannabe werewolf on “Teen Wolf” first.

          • fursa_saida

            Don’t forget MURDEROUS LIZARD

        • TM

Ugh he’s angsty too? Now that’s an obvious draw to watch–which kinda makes me hate myself.

      • WendyD

He’s also the face of Diesel for Nicola Formichetti.

    • Pterodactyl111

I can’t decide if I like the matching tie or not. The rest is PERF.

      • PlethoraofBooks

I decided I disliked it. I also, almost always, dislike replicating runway looks.

        • demidaemon

I agree with you, but, considering boystyle lately, if this is what it takes for them to look good, I am all for replicating runway looks.

    • NMMagpie

The heck with the clothes; that jawline is EPIC.

      • kmk05

        Aerodynamic cheekbones.

    • Carly Clement

I loved him in Teen Wolf, I love him on Arrow, but i love him the most when he WTFU! Attasexyboy!!!

    • ShaoLinKitten

Very, very pretty. A great start to Sausage Friday. I love the model’s shoes.

      • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

LOVE the model’s shoes. He did everything else per the runway look, so I think he should’ve taken the extra step.

        • Sarah

I was so scrolling down in hope that those shoes were involved. His own are okay, but man, those runway shoes are something.

        • CPT_Doom

Hey, he parted his hair on the other side and combed it up in the front.

        • homofascist

Those runway shoes are KILLA! I would sell someone else’s children to get them…

    • Anna

Scrumptious! Nice suit, love a good windowpane check and it’s working like gangbusters with the stripes.

    • http://www.snoskred.org/ Snoskred

You say he’s wearing clothes? I’ll believe you.. :) Can’t get past that gorgeous face.

He is an utterly beautiful man.

    • ChaquitaPhilly

Pretty…AND he knows how to shave!

    • Alyssa

A nice handsome start to Sausage Friday! Woo-hoo! I liked it more until I realized it was runway-copied, but I’d rather the boystars copy runway styling than show up putting forth no effort.

      • MartyBellerMask

        Amen.

    • Fanny_Trollope

Love the suit; love the shirt; don’t love the matchy tie; fix your cuffs, son. Well done overall.

    • http://attiresmind.blogspot.com/ Kiltdntiltd

I just wish it wasn’t the runway look, right down to the position of the tie bar. Other than that, delish!

      • Lisalady161

I prefer his shoes to the model’s, however. And also, his face.

        • http://attiresmind.blogspot.com/ Kiltdntiltd

          Gotta agree on both counts.

      • Janet B

        This morning, I don’t mind.

      • kimmeister

Yes, the weirdly high tie bar is totally distracting on both him and the model.

    • imspinningaround

Aw, he didn’t know how the button-through coat button worked. Awwwwwwww.

      • Linderella

Good eye, I never caught that. Of course, it’s bit difficult to stop staring at his extra-cute mug to notice some of the details.

    • jw_ny

It’s easy to copy the model look exactly. If one is going to do that, then the lack of attention to details become even more noticeable…fit and un-snugged tie especially. A rare case that I like the matchy matchy shirt/pocket square and tie/suit. Nice to see effort put in and a look that isn’t banker.

    • Risti

Any chance you guys will feature Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, too?

    • Patrick Cleary

The matching tie is a little eye-twitch-inducing, but otherwise, good show, celebrity I’ve never heard of!

    • mcbishop

Uh….no ragging on the ladies for copying the runway today. He looks fabulous anyway.

    • Chuck Barthelme

I wouldn’t normally abide the striped shirt with the plaid suit, but I think because he’s wearing a tie of the same pattern as the suit, it somehow works. Not a huge fan of the matchy matchy of the tie and suit in general, but I think he’s pulling it off. I’m also not crazy about the shawl lapel on anything but a tuxedo, but it’s not bad.

    • sienna elm

      DIMPLES!!

    • 25or6to4

His jawline is almost distracting me from the button fail… Damn, boy. Damn.

      • Chuck Barthelme

Button fail is annoying. Not even sure how he managed that. Looks like maybe the button is just backward on the one side, like he put it in from the front.

    • deelup

      He looks purty.

    • Lisalady161

Thank you for sending me off to work with a dose of pretty boy. He looks yummy!

    • DTLAFamilies

Bitter Kittens, my BIL is graduating college and I’d like to buy him a wallet as a present but I’m not sure what brand to get. Any suggestions? He’s 29, a new father, is pretty stylish and likes labels. Thanks in advance for your help!

      • MilaXX

I don’t know a lot about men’s accessories. But I like Burberry. They have a charcoal pattern that’ a little more subtle than the traditional beige plaid.

        • ScarlettHarlot

Second that. My husband doesn’t go in much for accessories, but really likes his Burberry wallet that was a college graduation gift.

        • DTLAFamilies

          Thank you!

      • TRSTL

I have bought and rebought the exact same Coach wallet 3 times over 25 years. Simple bifold with a removable card case in black. SUPER discreet labeling, unlike so many of the LV and Burberry models. Coach belts always hold up beautifully as well.

        • alyce1213

I’ll second the Coach endorsement. Classic, practical, semi-expensive (won’t break the bank).

        • DTLAFamilies

          Thank you for the suggestion!

    • SugarSnap108

What a pretty boy donut. I almost don’t want to eat him.

As an aside, for a moment I thought the model was carrying a hot dog.

      • kimmeister

HAHAHAHAHA it also looks like large sweet potato fries.

    • Kathy_Marlow

*sighs* over the cute boy, then clicks on the Willis It The Fuck Up link to enjoy the masterpiece that is Bruce Willis in that suit.

    • Wink

Damn. I may have to start watching that show now. (By ‘watching’ I mean the sound will be muted. I don’t have to hear what he’s saying.)

      • WendyD

Watch the show and listen to the dulcet tones of Stephen Amell’s abs.

        • Wink

I like the way you think!

        • ScarlettHarlot

Especially when he’s working out on the salmon ladder.

    • Monabel

Is it the angle, or are the trousers a little, gasp, short?

    • @Biting Panda

      Fresh out of the package.

    • WendyD

He’s so damn pretty!! Can’t wait for the next season of Arrow, especially now that they’ve added John Barrowman as a regular cast member!!

      • GorgeousThings

John Barrowman? I’m so there!!! Cap’n Jack is in the house!

        • WendyD

Yep! He’s in the first season too, but now back full-time for season three!

        • MilaXX

He’s been a recurring character for a while, just got promoted to regular cast member.

    • Fuchsiaforever

Will wash down well with my coffee…yum!

    • MilaXX

I think the slightly off fit is because the pants are slim cut and he’s not super skinny. Either way, I like the look. I don’t care if he did copy the runway look. He looks pretty.

    • Amílcar Castaneda

      Meet my future husband.

    • Beardslee

Do we need a tie clip with a vest? Isn’t it rather belt-and-suspenders? Or is that okay?
Tie clip is too high in any case. Other than that, lovely.

      • TRSTL

Agreed! I really hate the return of the tie clip and how wrongly so many are wearing them.

    • julnyes

Hate the matching tie, the sleeves are slightly too long and I think the pants are slightly too short. Despite these quibbles, I think it is definitely an interesting look.

    • Danielle

I’d like to dip him in chocolate and roll him in sprinkles. Delicious.

    • GorgeousThings

I’d probably love it more if it wasn’t the runway look in the flesh. I think that’s why the fit is slightly off.

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

This kind of tweed always reads “Shooting suit” to me – even though there is nothing remotely country about the cut.

    • Jacqueline Wessel

Aww, he’s cute, and I admire that he got this gussied-up for the cw.

    • CT14

      Not. A. Gray. Suit! Yea!

I’m liking the darker hair on him.

    • Janet B

Switching out the tie would have been nice, although his people might have had difficultly finding a suitable substitute.
I don’t think it’s actually difficult to find good tie, but my time here says it’s not too easy.

    • histrogeek

He’s got a little bulge showing there. I think it’s his way of saying, “Forget that Roy shit, In the coming season, I’m called Arsenal, bitches.”

    • FrauKrissie

Not digging the eyebrow fade. What’s going on there?

    • mimi

      unf

    • boweryboy

He can keep the suit. I want his cheekbones.

    • TRSTL

Love the suit and am digging the tie as well. Wish it were tightened against the collar but minor quibble. Would have liked a different pocket square, maybe a blue paisley to give just a one off from the matching shirt. But he looks really, really good.

      • Kitten Mittons

I’m totally digging the tie, I have no idea why.

Another one that does nothing for me, but he is very well turned out, and I can respect that.

        • demidaemon

I am digging the tie, and he does everything for me.

    • marlie

I really like the suit, and the color doesn’t bother me, but the off-ness of the fit is making my eye twitch. But really, a great effort on his part. He’s so not my type, but this guy rarely disappoints on the red carpet.

    • DaveUWSNYC

Screw Cronuts…give me a Boy Donut (trying to resist saying something about donut holes…)

      • Imasewsure

I will stick with my cronuts… them things is awesome!!

    • lahallita

The color does wonderful things for his eyes. Love those boots with the look.

    • cocohall

In addition to wearing a rather sharp suit, he also is clean shaven with nicely groomed hair. No neck scruff. Well done you, whoever you are!

    • mjude

boy donut. what is not to love?

    • majorbedhead

Oh my goodness. So pretty! And those eyes. And that jawline. And those cheekbones. Yum.

    • gitchygitchymama

      …..that man gives good face.

    • Shawn EH

I think he should lose the vest and one size up the pants.

    • steve

Whistler should paint his portrait! A beautiful head floating above a morass of smeared colors.

    • VicD

      That’s “boy twee”

    • shopgirl716

Those are some skinny pants he is wearing. How tiny is he?

    • Tee

Isn’t a boy donut called a long john?

    • rebeemoon

And not a hint of stubble. So refreshing. Now, would underwear improve the look or not?

    • Denise Alden

I have to admit to being nervous when I see a “WITFU,” if only because the original is so perfect. But dayum, I don’t give two figs about who this boy is and still, he done Willis proud.

    • TAGinMO

That little smirk in pics 2 & 6? Totally earned.

    • Bad Idea Jeans

      He purdy.

    • Lesley

im too distracted looking at chico lachowski rocking that suit on the runway, hot damnn. sorry colton!

    • MartyBellerMask

      Perfect.

    • Joanna

No. Let me rephrase: NO TO THE MATCHY MATCHY TIE!!! I think the fit is fine, the shirt is fine, and he definitely put in the effort, but he seriously looks like the wallpaper in my parents’ bathroom.

    • Qitkat

I just wish he had changed the pocket square, it looks like the corner of a pillowcase I own.
If you look very closely at the model’s version, the square is folded so that the lines meet at different angles, subtle, but a better design choice.

    • bitchybitchybitchy

Are those suit pants properly hemmed that I see? Oh, be still my heart. I have no idea who he is, but he’s adorable.

    • velomango

He duplicated the runway look….this usually gets a comment from TLo when the ladies do the same. However, overall, I don’t think duplicating the runway look is a bad thing, and I super duper dig this look on this man.

    • Imasewsure

Love it when they WITFU… Don’t love the color, don’t love the tie with it or the vest and yet the whole effect is fantastic. Nice job young man

    • http://www.bertkeeter.com Bert Keeter

      What a doll!

    • Judih1

Boy donut – you guys come up with the best terms. Can you publish a Bitter Kittens’ dictionary?

    • Fred Vaughn

      More Sausage Friday, please.

    • http://www.wilde-travels.com/ Jacob Marek

Donuts are really hard for me to digest, TLo.

Regardless, this man is beautiful, even though I don’t know who he is.

    • formerlyAnon

Not convinced about the matching pocket square. Beyond that, this is great.

      • pdquick

I think the matching pocket square turns the outfit into a statement of paradoxical intentional violation of convention.

    • JauntyJohn

      You GO boy.
Looks like a million bucks and knows it in the best sense of that term. Confident, not smug.
The word “aplomb” comes to mind.
Could it be the men of “Arrow” have a little style competition going on? These boys seem to consistently give it their best shot(s).

    • nannypoo

I don’t want to like this but I do.

    • B_C_J

Hate the matching tie & the pants look off across the hips – possibly too large. However he is beautifully groomed.

    • Pennymac

Why am I just looking at this post now? Can I have a donut in the afternoon, too? He’s probably the same age as at least one of my sons, but he’s very pretty.

    • traceyishere

Cute but way too much cuff.

    • unbornfawn

A really great look on a good looking man. I think the shirt makes the matchy tie work. He just needs someone to pull down those jacket sleeves and pull up that knot in his tie. It is clear he put in the effort, it is those little details that make a big difference. So close to perfect dude.

    • http://asskickingadviser.com/ Ass Kicking Adviser

      Fantastic! Yum indeed.

    • demidaemon

I am loving this boy donut. :)

    • LeelaST

Lose the pocket square & tie bar, cinch the tie & go up one size on the pants. As is, pretty!

    • Linderella

He direct-copied everything but the shoes, which were my favorite part. Still, eye-catching suit, and that little twink is a looker.

    • JynxTheCat

Sincerely looks like perfection from here and I think that color is great on him. WERQ from me. Best in some time for the men here matter of fact (fact being my opinion of course)

    • FridaStaire

He is really working the lunch!

    • LadyVimes

He’s been pretty consistently one of the most fashionable new boy-stars, if I’m recalling previous posts correctly (I’ve never seen his show).
Well, done, dear. Now find a better tailor.

    • SorayaS

Fabulous! He could so easily rest on the pretty but no, he chooses a vomit coloured suit and wears the fuck out of it!

    • Man Dala

He looks very dreamy. Great skin.

    • Renaissance_Man_ATL

I kinda wish he’d changed up the look a bit from the runway, but daaamn! He’s fine!

    • Nicoclaws

I wish male stars would show off their backs like starlets always do.

    • melisaurus

I don’t like the term Willis it the fuck up. :( It’s not catchy and it;s named after one time BW showed up looking good.

    • prisma

Wow. I don’t enjoy men’s suits at all but I like this. Very nice!

    • Crystal

      Damn that boy is pretty.
