    Atta boy!

  • Michele

That’s an ugly wrinkled mess of a dress, but she looks fantastic. It’s nice to see her!

  • Josefina Madariaga Suárez

Maybe the dress doesn’t translate well to the red carpet, because it looks amazing on the runway but kinda wrinkled on Sheryl.

    • lundibleu

I think it’s rather wrinkled on the runway too, just the harsher lighting hides a chunk of the wrinkling. Suspect part of problem is also sizing v. free dress, as per usual.

  • susan6

Bangin’ bod. She looks more and more like Carly Simon.

  • Jeremy Thomas Porta

If it makes you happy, it can’t be that bad.

    • LipstickForPigs

i see what you did there.

  • Imasewsure

The dress is awesome… on the model… “Fancy jeans and t-shirt” hair, earrings and makeup when edgy was needed

    • Kim Elmore

But are we seeing pubic hair???

  • I love the dress on the model, not too sure about it on Vanna White…

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

How old is VW anyway? Like 500?

  • hughman

    “All I wanna do
    Is get an iron…”

    • Kitten Mittons

      How ironic.

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

      You win. 🙂

  • Sophie

Really like the dress. Not the earrings or the hair.

  • Ginger

Has she had work done? Seriously, I would’ve had a difficult time pinning her as Sheryl Crow had you not put her name on the picture. That being said, the dress does not do good things for her amazing figure. This dress is much better in theory.

    • halleygee

I didn’t recognize her at first either.

    • littlemac8

Ginger, that was my first thought! She’s been “refreshed.” My second thought was that design does nothing for her bust line.

      • Jackie4g

She doesn’t have much of a bust or waist. She’s got quite a straight up and down torso. That’s why the stage gear is usually blouson tops over skinny leather pants.

    • Agnes Gooch

Didn’t recognize her either. It’s not the worst bit of refreshment I’ve seen done, but let’s hope she stops here.

  • MilaXX

meh, I don’t like how the bottom pools

  • KT

GTNYD — it really doesn’t suit her style. The earrings and hair ARE her style, so unsurprisingly, they are clashing with the dress. Also, the dress looks kind of tortured in these pics, like it’s actively trying to find its way to a more suitable wearer.

However, it must be stated that Sheryl Crow looks incredible, as usual. She is 52 YEARS OLD and she really could pass for late 20s/early 30s. Bitch don’t age, or bitch has the best team and/or plastic surgeon in the game. Crazy body, too. Snaps of respect.

    • Heather

Can we add her to the Bitches Who Don’t Age But Still Look Good without Obvious Work list?

      • TrixieConQueso

I think she looks great, but let’s not kid ourselves. Fillers work better now, and they aren’t doing the surgical face lifts as much anymore, which looked “pulled” at times. Whatever she is doing, it is working. But she is doing something,

        • Wink

Yes, she has had something nipped and tucked for sure! But she hasn’t overdone it (yet), so she’s looking good. I’ll even say she looks as good now as she did when she was ‘soaking up the sun.’ (Groan, I know.)

    • KES4K

I want the name of her face guy/girl. Doc does great work.

  • deelup

    Which designer did her face?

  • marlie

I like the idea of the dress, and I even like it on the model on the runway, but on Cheryl, there’s something missing. Maybe it needs to be pressed? I don’t know. The earrings are totally wrong for this, but she looks good, overall.

  • bizarro

She looks great but very different.

  • anneshirley

I love the idea/design of this dress but it seems like something went awry with the construction. The placement of the piping down the front of the bodice is weird, and the seams on either side seem puckery, but not enough to be clearly intentionally so. It does look better on the model, but maybe that’s a quirk of distance and lighting. Yes to her lovely makeup and smile, no to the earrings, hairstyle, and pink metallic nails.

  • Judih1

Great dress but doesn’t look good on Sheryl. Not sure it if is the color or her height or something else. Her hair is a bit brassy, no?

  • I feel like this needs to be on someone with a bigger waist:hip ratio. The pattern seems to be designed to flare out to the hips, and on Sheryl who has a slightly more willowy figure it isn’t as well suited.

    • Sarah

I think the neckline is a little too high on her, too. I realize it’s meant to be pretty far up, but the inch difference between Sheryl’s fit and the runway makes a difference. And, of course, the wrinkly-ness, which is unfortunate.

      • Celticharpist

Agreed. The problems in fit combine to make her look thick waisted, which I am sure she isn’t.

  • ScarlettHarlot

I like her better in less fussy outfits, this dress seems a little out of her wearability

  • It seems that every designer today has at least one version of this dress. I’m happy for Christian’s success, though. Following trends is important for aspiring designers, I guess.

  • Danielle

Not sure about pairing those earrings with the dress, but I like it, overall.

  • Jacob Bowen

I think it should be not so wrinkly, but I think it actually flatters her figure, and boy does she look SO happy!

  • JP

Was it unlined on the runway? I feel like I’m seeing bits the model would prefer to keep private.

  • BuffaloBarbara

Looks like it gained a lining on the way to the red carpet, and the lining made it wrinkle. I think maybe the designers doing the sheers need to be held accountable for making a non-sheer alternative for clients who don’t want to show off their bikini waxes that doesn’t look like a last minute “fix.”

  • Ashleigh

    Glad SHE wore undergarments!

  • Janet B

That’s too much dress for her to handle or maybe it’s too much black for me to see her wear.

  • Jessica Freeman

This dress would have had to have zero wrinkles to have the right effect. Alas, they are making it look pretty bad.

  • estella_nyc

Like it in theory, but it’s pulling too much. Not bad, though.

  • Fred Vaughn

It’s SO award, but I like it.

  • kat89

Thought # 1. The dress is ok. Not loving it, but it gets the job done. Thought #2. Looks like she’s had some work done.

    • bitchybitchybitchy

My very first thought was “When did Sheryl have work done?” I agree the dress is OK-not my favorite from Christian

      • decormaven

I’m trying to stick to just focusing on the fashion, but I’m too distracted by her look. I don’t know if I would have identified her on first glance.

        • bitchybitchybitchy

I had to take a second look to realize this is Sheryl Crow.

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

    Underwhelming. And wrinkled.

  • suzq

It was just as wrinkled on the runway. It doesn’t need the train. Cheryl looks good, though and thank you for wearing a slip!

  • littlevase

    Girl, that’s not your face.

  • The dress looks awesome… Wrinkles are a part of life deal with it!

  • Stella Zawistowski

Those earrings are wasted on her. They need to go on someone with dark hair, or else she at least needs to pull hers back.

  • Louise de Teliga

    she looks fab!

  • lalahartma

    Looking good!

  • Trickytrisha

Wonder what they did with the real Sheryl? This impostor is wearing a nice dress though.

    • ShaoLinKitten

I thought the same thing. Had no idea it was Sheryl Crow and wouldn’t have guess it without the label. Whoever this is looks good, though.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

I realized looking at the model that the dress is supposed to be wrinkled? No likey. But I think she looks lovely in it nonetheless and those earrings are killah!

  • mickiemonkey

    Yay, Sheryl! She looks fantastic!!!!!

  • demidaemon

Something about those side panels looks half-assed to me. I loved it on first glance, but the more I look at it, the more problems I see.

  • kipper

NOT crazy about the dress at all – BUT, Ms Crow is looking fantastic!

  • @Biting Panda

This is the best she’s looked in s long time.

  • samo_samo

  • I kinda like the dress, I am wildly envious of her body and tweaked but not overtweak face. But that hair. Blah. I can’t put my finger on why I hate it, but I hate it.

    • Spicytomato1

I’m with you on the hair. Hard to describe what’s offensive about it. It’s sort of dated and pageant-y to me, maybe a bit fussier than her image would suggest? I’d like to see it maybe straight and sleek, a la Sandra Bullock (although I know people think she overdoes it on the straightening).

    • It’s the same “meh” hairstyle every other starlet wears.

  • quiltrx

She’s on my perfectly-rational dislike list, but this is a great dress and looks great on her.

  • Gatto Nero

The gown is fine, but the hairstyle and earrings are two different kinds of wrong.

  • Fuchsiaforever

That’s Sheryl Crow?! But…but…she look so different….What did she have done?

  • wontons

Like the pattern; not sure about the long skirt and train (it’d be a great shorter dress). It seems to suit the style she likes to project.

  • mjmiller77

she looks great, dress is amazing – but lookin’ puckered/wrinkled. 🙁

  • formerlyAnon

I can’t ever like her because one of her hits was on the radio like never-ending omnipresent aural wallpaper during a difficult time in my life, so she makes me think my stomach is going to start hurting from anxiety any second.

But if it weren’t for that over-exuberant yet boring train/flare at the bottom, I think this would be a genius dress for her.

    • “Soak Up The Sun”? That was getting hourly play when I was working a summer factory job in college. To this day, it makes me want to throw myself in front of a piece of heavy machinery just to stop the music.

      • formerlyAnon

“All I Wanna Do.” Pity it’s ruined for me because I think it’s a pretty great pop song.

    • Vtg Fashion Library

I woke up to the radio on the morning of my hysterectomy, and it was playing her singing “The First Cut Is The Deepest.” True story. Haven’t liked listening to her since.

  • MarissaLG

Not loving the earrings, but I think she looks phenomenal otherwise.

  • antonialee

If you hadn’t said this was Sheryl Crow I never would have known. I like the gown, but do not like the neck line.
