This woman is ageless but I feel like I have seen her wear this dress over & over. She does not take any fashion risks. She has one silhouette & she sticks to it.

      • teensmom99

I actually feel that in this case it’s not “of course” but rather a virtue. She is true to her style.

        • Beardslee

She said once, years ago, that she wears the same dress and poses the same way, over and over. She knows what looks good on her and this still looks good on her.

          • teensmom99

Yup, and looking at this again I see that there are minor updates, like the cut outs. Yes I know she always wore cut outs but these are very 2014 type cut outs.

            • melisaurus

I think she may be too old for cut outs now…

      • Kent Roby

Oddly, this dress immediately reminds me of the Versace safety-pin dress she wore in 1994. Gosh, that was 20 years ago; I suddenly feel ancient.

        • sojourneryouth

I thought the same thing. She gravitates to this type of dress over and over–her style is similar to that of a classier WAG. She looks good, if a bit boring.

    • http://www.ellenciompi.com/ NurseEllen

Great dress, amazing figure, crappy eye makeup. Nice deployment of stole!

    • Introspective

classic rich bitch. stole is to die for. dress is a yawn. raccoon eyes are a mess. yet the whole thing is easier on my eyes than id expect so kudos to lizzie for her innate fabulousness…

    • ojosazules

She is the the Queen Bitch of “of course.”

    • MaryMitch

She looks great for her age, but this picture could have been taken 10 years ago. Time for her to update her look. Cut the hair and soften the eye makeup (PLEASE!).

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

      Of course.

    • KinoEye

Oh, Liz. You don’t age, but your look is. You’re gorgeous, so lay off the SJP eyeliner, mkay? Also, ditch what looks to be real fur, please.

      • Rhonda Shore

That’s exactly it! Something bothered me about this and you nailed it.

      • Allison Angier

SJP is the first thing I thought of too. Not only the eyeliner, but the hair style as well. They could be sisters!

        • SparkleNeely

          Also, Cathy Cambridge eyeliner. Yikes!

      • 3boysful

I always feel like she is always trying too hard for someone who remains so beautiful.

    • Victor Beiramar Diniz

i need to change my reading glasses… for a second there, the thumbnail looked like cathy cambridge

      • ccinnc

It’s not your glasses – I thought so too.

        • majorbedhead

          I did as well.

      • alyce1213

They appear to be from the same genetic pool — also Jacqueline Bisset, Kate Beckinsale.

    • Jessica Freeman

Ease up on the eye liner, Liz.

    • quiltrx

She looks incredible and ageless, but I feel like she’s been in a style rut for quite a while. Time to try something different. And ditch the pelt, please.

    • luludexter

    • jilly_d

Time to wipe off last night’s makeup and start over, Liz.

    • LeelaST

Cut-outs and a fur. Of course.

    • Ashleigh

      I remember her…

    • decormaven

Still cuts a fine figure, so snaps for that.

    • marlie

It cracks me up that she’s still around, but as many other kittens said… stylewise, this photo could have been taken 10 or 20 years ago.

      • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

Has she done anything lately? I mean, career wise?

        • marlie

According to IMDb she has, including a bunch of episodes of Gossip Girl and some made for TV movies, but I haven’t heard a word of any of those projects.

    • BackseatDriver

What is wrong with the zipper on the small of her back, it looks like it is either broken or came unhooked. Either way, that is gunning for an unexpected show.

    • Danielle

She still looks insanely gorgeous, but I agree with another commenter, this picture could have been taken a decade ago.

    • Denise Alden

I’ve never cared for her, but I can’t deny that she looks fabulous here.

    • littlevase

She has a look and a nice classic style but she needs a reboot. I’d straighten the hair and put it partially up, and go with subtle cat eyeliner and a stronger lip. Ditch the side cut outs in the dress. Just a few minor changes. She really does look good. And she has a great back.

    • Constant Reader

The gown looks like a prom dress bought at the mall and I blame Sarah Jessica Parker for that eyeliner.

    • http://batman-news.com boweryboy

I’m not seeing the glamour. Sorry.

    • Aidan B

Holy Cathy Cambridge! Why did I never notice that resemblance before? Maybe it’s the long, flowing locks she’s sporting here.

      • Lilak

Though of course the Duchess will never wear any garment that bumps up on ‘trashy’ and her hair will always be glorious and well-tended, I do worry that the way she did her eye makeup in her teens is the way it’s always gonna be. Pity.

    • cherryblossom

What is wrong with Sarah Jessica Parker’s eyeliner?!?!

    • Lilak

All right! The ORIGINAL “Of Course” !!

    • kcnitch

She, along with Kate Bekinsale and SJP, deperately need a style update. They’re all stuck in the 90’s.

    • MilaXX

Is that dress a variation of the dress that Kate Beckinsale wore a few days ago? I still don’t like that wickedty wackedty trim on the cute out.

    • MarissaLG

Are those footprints all over the bottom of her gown???!!

      • kimmeister

        LOLOLOLOL I think you’re right!

    • MannahattaMamma

Exactly. She, like SJP, is stuck in some other decade (century). The eyeliner! The hair! The dress! It makes me sad to see such a clear illustration of “I am afraid to age, so I will pretend that I am not aging.”

    • frannyprof

      She looks trashy.

    • Qitkat

Dahling, so nice of you to grace our little exhibit here at the museum. Did you have a nice wine with your dinner? Did you have a nice dinner with your wine? Did you get dressed in the dark? Did you and SJP exchange mascara and eyeliner tips over cocktails? That limousine ride must have been exhausting. Here, have a glass of wine.

    • GeoDiva

She’s like Sofia Vergara… she knows what works and sticks with it.

    • Kate4queen

Dead animal over her arm is obscuring the view ‘shudder’

    • ThaliaMenninger

Haven’t seen her in about ten years. Oddly, she is still dressing exactly like she did ten years ago. It’s the safety pins and scraps school of fashion. Always going for the sexy. Always looking like she just threw on whatever was handy after sex in the back of the limo.

    • http://twitter.com/janedonuts Jane Donuts

Well, I guess I’ll have to be the one to say this reads as mutton dressed as lamb to me. She is aging incredibly well, but I think there is a time in life when you leave the cutouts behind, and she’s passed it.

    • E. D.

What’s with the SJP eye makeup?

    • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

as to the back shot, i will quote my sainted mother: “you have rats’ nests in your hair!”

    • Teresa Wyatt

      Aging beautifully

    • demidaemon

What a cheap looking dress with rick-rack trim.

    • http://tvblogster.blogspot.com Boop

      This whole look is outdated.

    • andi56

Yuck. So 80s, and I don’t mean that in a good way.
Then again, I’ve been mad at her ever since she told the whole world that Hugh Grant had a very tiny penis. That was just rude.

    • Sunraya

She’s lovely. But the fur ruins it. Ugh.

    • http://www.bertkeeter.com Bert Keeter

      FUR is NOT fashion!

    • Tuneful54

Has-been porn star, and lose the spaniel hair, please.

    • Kelly

Wow, I’d forgotten all about Elizabeth Hurley (is that rude to say?) If you’d told me this was a flashback picture from her early 90s heyday, I would probably have believed you. She doesn’t seem to have progressed much in style terms in the last 20 years. And fur? really? Maybe it’s fake.

    • WittyCism

Hat’s off to the gal; I certainly don’t look the same way I did ten years ago.

    • http://asskickingadviser.com/ Ass Kicking Adviser

Bitch don’t age. Damn she looks good.

    • Clash D

Her booty looks exactly the same as the day she wore that Versace Safety Pin dress. Dayum.
