      Lovely. NOW WHERE’S THE BABY?!!

      • Kitten Mittons

Did you see him looking at the live bunnies on Easter? They showed a brief clip on the news here yesterday, and he was just kicking his legs and bouncing when he saw them.

Someone also gave him a stuffed kangaroo like the one in the above picture, and he grabbed it, looked at it, and threw it, as if he said, “Minions, this is not a bunny. BRING ME A LIVE BUNNY!”

I just cooed at the TV for the entire clip.

        • Emily Smith

I’ve been loving the go fug yourself descriptions of George’s behavior. DOWN NOW PLEASE. I lol everytime at his polite baby demands.

          • Kitten Mittons

Oh, I’ll have to look. I don’t check that site, so thanks for the heads up!

          • bitchybitchybitchy

The photo of William kissing George over at the go fug site is too sweet for words-my cranky little self just melted.

        • anneshirley

I think it was a Bilby! He was looking at a Bilby named for him. ADORABLE.

          • Kitten Mittons

Truth time, I had to google that. How cute! Clearly, we had the sound turned down on the TV :)

      • bitchybitchybitchy

I confess to craving more shots of Prince Chubby Cheeks. Lovely dress.

      • Lori

Google Prince George + zoo and you will get a flood of cuteness.

      • Danielle

There’s a meme floating around Tumblr of George wiggling in his father’s arms and saying “Unhand me! I am your king!” and I fall to pieces every time I see it or a variation of it.

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

A brilliant member of Fug Nation pointed out that this is a remembrance ceremony, and she’s wearing a dress patterned in poppies, which is a nice connection. I like how she’s been doing the half up hair on this tour.

      • Kayceed

The royal family is so good at symbolic dressing – I think it would be such fun to work in the office (protocol?) that does all the research for upcoming trips and works out wardrobe recommendations.

        • formerlyAnon

I’m fascinated by the amount of work that goes into the symbolic tie-ins they pull off at almost every appearance. (Probably every appearance, I just don’t read the press that explains some of them.)

        • Darren Nesbitt

          Sounds like The Hunger Games

    • Glam Dixie

Gorgeous dress? check. Gorgeous hair? check. Cute, inoffensive shoes? check. Ring front and center? check. All is right in the royal world.

    • Funkykatt

I wonder if she ever just sighs and wishes she could just spend the day with George.

      • sagecreek

Oh, no doubt. But this is her job, and a sucky job it is.

    • alyce1213

There are some pics on the interwebz of Mindy Kaling in the very same dress. It’s quite pretty and Kate looks lovely, but IMO, Mindy wore it better — her curves are perfect for the print placement.

      • FancyPhilly

She wore the dress on her show in a recent episode, covered up by a coat for much of it, but yeah, she rocked it.

    • Adelaidey

I can’t see blue roses without seeing Betty Draper. I know I’m not the only one. Luckily Princess Shinyhair looks much happier and healthier than Sad Betty.

    • @Biting Panda

Mindy wore this dress on Tuesday’s show. I loved it on her, I love it Catherine. She is sooooo good at wearing things that work for all kinds of women.

    • Frank_821

Did any one see that posting by Mindy Kaling where she joked she wore this look first and how she expects the duchess to show up in ratty pjs

    • KinoEye

That signature sapphire of hers makes another appearance. Love all of this. Will’s face is a little scary in the last photo. It looks like he’s yelling at that child.

      • Kitten Mittons

“I wanted to eat the ears!!!”

    • Sarah

Oh, she is just so pretty. Love the dress, love her hair. Her eyes look amazing – dunno if that’s make up or the dress or the sunshine or a combo of all three, but it is working for her.

    • marlie

Another Catherine dress that I covet. This is SO pretty.

    • Judy_J

I love this dress. I wish it was in my closet.

    • marlie

Anyone see the video of George throwing the stuffed bilby on the ground at their zoo appearance? Cracked me the hell up. Obviously, there’s no teaching a 9-month-old about behaving like a royal.

      • Kitten Mittons

Ha, yes! I just posted about that, too. It was great.

    • NMMagpie

      Damn. I just love her.

    • kimmeister

She has just the right kind of neck/shoulders for that neckline. I’m also digging the fact that she wears a watch.

      • Sarah

Yes! Watches forever! I love watches. Screw lookin’ at my cell all the time when I could have another accessory to sport.

        • kimmeister

I have an epic watch tan line because I wear it all the time. One can peek at the time so much more discreetly with a watch than with a cell phone.

          • barbarienne

I ditched my watch about a year ago because it was irritating my skin, but I confess I miss it for precisely this reason. So easy to glance at in passing. Even readable out of the corner of my eye because I’m old and accustomed to “big hand / little hand” watches.

          • Sarah

Yup, me too. Which is crazy, ‘cuz I’m pasty as heck but under my watch lies an even pastier region. I also have about 15 watches. Because I never miss the chance for Bling in my life.

            • kimmeister

Ha, so true. The only whiter part of my body is my scalp. When it comes to watches, though, I am a creature of habit. I have probably 6 of them, but I pretty much wear the same one all the time.

            • housefulofboys

I am very particular about the watch I wear, because I know it will only leave my arm when I’m in the shower. It has to have both yellow and white gold so I can wear any jewelry with it, look equally well with a sporty or dressy or work outfit, be neither too large nor too small. I’m like the Goldilocks of watches, always in search of the Holy Grail (how’s that for a mixed metaphor?)

            • kimmeister

Alas, my watch only has silver-toned metal, but that’s ok since my wedding ring is white gold and I rarely wear yellow gold. However, one of the biggest considerations for me is that it needs to not move around like a bracelet. I like to wear it above my wrist, not where the wrist actually bends.

            • housefulofboys

Oh that’s funny, I always leave an extra link in my band so that the watch moves around bracelet-like.

            • 3boysful

We are twins. I have all the same watch requirements.

        • Jessica Freeman

I ditched wearing a watch years ago, and have recently started looking again because I miss it. And I prefer to not use my phone because it just looks like I’m checking for a text message instead of checking the time.

          • marlie

Same here. I ditched my first watch when the battery died, and then the second one when *that* battery died. But now I covet the two really nice watches that my sister has, and am plotting to try to swipe one (just temporarily, of course)!

    • M_E_S

I have been loving this tour, especially for the subtitled gifs of George waving his chubby little arms around and pretending to be a little king. SO CUTE.

    • decormaven

She’s a hitting machine, knocking it out of the park. Every. Single. Time. Love this dress!

    • http://www.chifleschips.com Stefanie Argudo Mackenzie

      Just gorgeous.

    • Jessica Freeman

I think what I love the most about her style is it is always classy and stylish. The goods are NEVER on display and I appreciate that.

    • Megan

How does she manage to look so stylish and composed while carrying all of that stuff?! Put more than two items in my hands, and I immediately transform into Helter-Skelter, Possibly-Deranged Bag Lady.

That’s probably what took me out of the running, Mrs. Wills-wise. I’m pretty sure it was down to her or me.

    • Kent Roby

This is that rarest of floral-print dresses that looks really stylish and interesting without being too “precious”. Well done.

    • ccinnc

How adorable is that last picture of William?? LOVE the dress. She’s stunning as always.

    • LadyVimes

I really like this. The blue flower print clustered around her waist have a sash effect. Lovely.

That said, do ALL of her dresses on this pole dance erm I mean Royal Tour have elbow-length sleeves? Are short sleeves banned by Gran-in-law?

    • ThaliaMenninger

I love the print. And in her signature Royal Blue.

    • LaSylphide

For her, that’s almost flamboyant. She looks great.

    • sagecreek

Trim as usual, but like many of us, she doesn’t look her best in white. I would love to have seen this dress with a yellow or peach background.

      • Kitten Mittons

I actually like the white, but now I’m daydreaming about a yellow. That could have been really stunning.

    • Mrs. Julien

Is anyone else noticing that there doesn’t seem to have been the rumoured change in hemline length? Is there a subtle shift that has been lost on me? She looks much like she did on the last tour.

      Also: so pretty.

      • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

I think that is coming down to the rumour having been reported in the Daily Fail.

        • Mim McDonald

I honestly believe that if she was encouraged to alter her style, it was more about increasing the amount of diplomatic dressing (eg popping on the New Zealand fern brooch) while overseas, rather than hem length, sleeve length, etc. If Sophie Wessex can get away with going to church in an electric blue outfit with a focus-pulling zip right down the centre of the behind, I doubt the Queen’s too fussed about Kate’s sleeves.

Now if only Kate could get really diplomatic and bring out the Andamooka opals. She can really work a statement necklace, surely there must be an evening event she can wear those to!

    • MarissaLG

Mindy Kaling understandably pointed out via instagram that she wore the same dress (first) on her show this week. They both look lovely in it.

      • Orangemily

Is the Mindy project even shown in the UK?

    • Jennifer McGuire

Love the dress, living for the blue suede shoes.

    • boweryboy

I love that she’s embracing prints. It’s refreshing. Now, can we talk about that hair?

      • Aunt Tabby

Yes please! Cathy’s hair length is heading into Rapunzel territory. It’s just too long to do anything interesting with. I get she may consider her glorious hair a signature asset, but at this length, it just drags her face down rather than frame it. If she went shoulder length it would look thicker and have some swing.

    • Jacob Bowen

THOSE EARRINGS BELONG IN MY JEWELRY BOX!!! (Oh, and she looks divine as always).

    • Highland Fashionista

This is a lovely dress, and her hair looks really nice like that. I just wish she had a bot more shoe game. Not so match-matchy. That dress would be great with a nude or orange Manolo. Just sayin’.

    • Qitkat

Cute kangaroo, and a dress I would love to see hanging in my closet.

    • judybrowni

Miss Cathy pulling off something close to what Miss Lupita wore so well, if memory serves.

      Props to both!

      • MilaXX

Midy wore it as well. She posted a picture of herself wearing it on IG.

    • http://www.bertkeeter.com Bert Keeter

Not loving the hair pulled back over her brow! Tad matronly….

    • bunnydiet

      Love that dress!

    • demidaemon

Pretty. Love the use of the pattern to create shape.

    • P M

      a) So cute dress!
      b) Cathy, eat a burger!
      c) I want that kangaroo! (no it isn’t childish to want a stuffed kanga toy when one is over 30)

    • http://www.ellenciompi.com/ NurseEllen

That woman behind her in the first photo–for a minute I thought she was wearing the oddest fur hat EVER, and then I realized it was her hair. Good god.

      • megalomanic

Welcome to Australia, where frosted tips are ALWAYS this season’s hottest look!

    • Danielle

Perfect, as usual. She truly embodies what a duchess is.

    • CanIbeFrank

Just watched a recent episode of The Mindy Project and Mindy was wearing this exact same dress! It looked gorgeous on her too, though with a totally different vibe. Awesome when two very different people in two very situations can both look fab in the same dress.
